  • Patent number: 7070511
Abstract: A golf practice mat is formed by a circular or rectangular golf mat with a sufficiently large playing surface to support a golfer for address of a golf ball on a tee located in a contiguous outer peripheral margin of the playing surface. The spaced apart golf ball hitting areas each include the golf club approach path and a golf club follow through path intercepted by the golf tee mounting aperture. The golf mat is rotated about an axle within spandrels or filler pieces supported on a platform about the outer periphery of the golf mat.

  • Patent number: 6958021
Abstract: A tee assembly for teeing a golf ball in a playing field uses a tubular elastomeric golf ball to support the ball at one end and fitted with a threaded nut at the opposite end for forming an internally threaded base. A threaded elastomeric shaft is anchored against rotation about an elongated central axis to the flanged base beneath a playing field to resiliently extend in an upstanding manner through an aperture in the playing field along a distance sufficient to correspond to the selectable range of elevations. The external threads of elastomeric shaft are in mating engagement with the internally threaded base to resiliently restore the elastomeric golf ball support to the selected elevation above such a playing filed. An abutment mounted on a protruding terminal end of the elastomeric shaft prevents disengagement of the tubular golf ball support from the elastomeric shaft.

  • Patent number: 5776014
Abstract: An adjustable golf ball tee for teeing up a golf ball in a playing field includes an elongated support provided with a golf ball support surface and a base at opposite ends. The base is received in the cavity of a receiver housing which supports a nut member to threadably receive the threaded portion of a screw. The head portion of the screw is integrally surrounded by plastic material comprising the base of the golf ball support. The terminal end of the screw is provided with a jam nut that limits the extent at which the screw threads can be withdrawn from the nut in the cavity of the receiver. A cap is fitted onto the lower end of the receiver to prevent the ingress of foreign material and a bevel at the lower end of the receiver anchors it against rotation in a bored hole extending beneath the playing field.

  • Patent number: 5031812
Abstract: A golf ball position marker detachably secured to a supporting strip attached to a golfer's belt or golf bag. A pouch having a pair of tabs may be supported on the supporting strip, either by looping the tabs thereon or by attaching the tabs directly onto the supporting strip. Interpenetrating fibers are provided on coacting faces of the marker, supporting strip, and tabs, so that the marker and tabs may be detachably fastened to the supporting strip.
