    Abstract: A camera adapted to selectively receive and expose film having different effective film speeds, under both ambient and artificial illumination, the film speed being encoded on film carrying means, includes apparatus to move a filter into the exposure path of a lens axis of the camera when a flash unit is mounted on the camera and apparatus to sense the encoded film speed and to prevent the movement of the filter into the exposure path if film of relatively low speed is in the camera.
