  • Publication number: 20160081376
Abstract: A prepackaged, fortified meal provides a substantial portion of the daily recommended requirements, which can be adjusted depending upon the intended consumers for the meals. In a first embodiment, the meal contains macaroni, powdered cheese, soy, vitamins, and minerals. The cheese, vitamins and minerals are contained in a small package, and is added to a larger bag with the macaroni and soy. In a second embodiment, the meal contains rice, beans, soy, dehydrated vegetables, vitamins, minerals and seasoning. The vitamins, minerals and seasoning are contained in a small package, which is added to a larger bag with the rice, beans, soy and vegetables. The meals are cooked in boiling water before consumption.

  • Patent number: 5507473
Abstract: A guard rail post is molded from a plastic recycled material which is reinforced with a vertical and a horizontal reinforcing member embedded within an L-shaped plastic body.

  • Patent number: 5482663
Abstract: Apparatus for molding an elongated cylindrical object includes an elongated cylindrical mold. First and second closure plates are positioned within the mold and an elongated tube is suspended between the closure plates within the mold. A sliding piston is mounted over the elongated tube. Molten plastic is introduced into the mold between the piston and one of the closure plates so as to cause the piston to slide along the tube within the mold toward the opposite closure plate. When the mold is filled, the piston engages the opposite closure plate, and further introduction of molten plastic is stopped. This process produces an elongated plastic body having the tube embedded therein.

  • Patent number: 4824627
Abstract: The method of the present invention involves taking a comminuted mixture of waste plastic materials, feeding the mixture into a screw extruder capable of applying heat and pressure to the mixture; using the screw extruder to heat the mixture to a temperature of between 350.degree. and 600.degree. Fahrenheit; and forcing the molten mixture outwardly through a die opening under a pressure of from 100 lbs. per sq. inch to 600 lbs. per sq. inch into a mold in tightly sealed relationship over the die opening. The mold, after being filled, is removed from the screw extruder, and the mixture is permitted to cool and harden in the mold. The hardened mixture is then removed from the mold.

  • Patent number: 4797237
Abstract: A product is made by recycling a beverage container comprising a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) body having a plastic base cup and a metal cap attached thereto. The base cup is made from a plastic material different from the PET. The method includes grinding the entire beverage container including the PET body, the metal cap and the base cup, into particles sufficiently small to flow into a plastics molding machine. The ground particles are fed into a molding machine which heats and applies pressure to them and forces them into a mold of predetermined shape. The molded material is then cooled whereby the molded material hardens and forms a solid object having the predetermined shape of the mold.

  • Patent number: 4757784
Abstract: The device for delivering fluid to livestock comprises a plurality of demand actuated drinker units which can be actuated by animals. Each drinker unit is connected to a vertical conduit, and the upper end of the vertical conduits are connected to a horizontal conduit. Fluid is circulted from a reservoir through the horizontal conduit and back to the reservoir. Gravity causes fluid to flow downwardly through the vertical conduits to the drinker units, but the constant recirculation of fluid through the upper conduit prevents the fluid from remaining at rest and spoiling. The system includes a fresh water supply which can be used to inject fresh water into the system or for the purposes of flushing the system.

  • Patent number: 4738808
Abstract: The molding machine of the present invention comprises a screw extruder for extruding plastic material. A plurality of molds are moved one at a time to the outlet end of the extruder for receiving the plastic material therefrom, One end of the mold is open for receiving the plastic material and the opposite end of the mold includes a closure plate covering the end of the mold. The closure plate has a small fill sensing aperture therein. A sensing switch is mounted adjacent the fill sensing aperture and is adapted to sense when molded plastic exits from the fill sensing aperture so as to shut off the extruder and cause the mold to move away from the extruder so that an additional mold can be filled. A cylinder operated closure device clamps the opposite ends of the mold after the mold has moved away from the filling station so as to contain the plastic material within the mold while the plastic material cools and hardens.
