    Abstract: A manhole frame with adjustment screws for raising and lowering said frame has in its inner surface pockets or recesses each communicating with a hole for guiding of the adjustment screws. The recesses serve to receive nuts for the screws and the recesses are shaped so as to permit the sideways of said nuts. The recesses also constitute drainages for the screw holes.
