  • Publication number: 20090224494
Abstract: The present invention relates to an ice skate blade holder and blade assembly which comprises a blade holder and a blade, wherein said skate blade holder includes two pin holes respectively located at the bottom of the front and rear aspects of said blade holder. The blade is secured with the blade holder by pins and nuts extending through said pin holes. The blade has an upper and a lower portion which are adhered to each other by glue. The lower portion of the blade provided with great wear-resistant and rigid material has an elongated protrusion extending along upside. The upper portion of the blade provided with lighter aluminum material includes an accommodated slot extending along the bottom thereof and two round slots respectively located at the upper edge thereof.

  • Publication number: 20080100008
Abstract: This invention is a structural improvement for an ice skate blade, where the blade holder and the blade are separate. The blade is made from a hard, wear-resistant material. The upper surface is a relatively thinner connecting surface by a roller shape forming machine. On the surface of the blade, there are several equidistant apertures. A special mold is utilized for mounting the connecting surface of the blade to the blade holder using lighter material materials, namely plastic steel. Thus, the weight reduction of the whole ice skate blade effectively improves the skaters' technique and performance and enhances market competitiveness as well.

  • Patent number: 6917516
Abstract: A retrievable device includes a frame with an open bottom to receive therein a monitor and at least one arm with a first distal end pivotally connected to the frame and a second distal end slidably received in the passage in the monitor. The monitor is able to be slidably and pivotally received in the frame. An elastic element is securely received in the guiding tracks in the frame so that when the guiding elements of the monitor are moving inside the guiding tracks, the elastic element is able to provide a friction to stop the movement of the guiding elements to position the monitor relative to the frame.

  • Patent number: 6149889
Abstract: A nuclear medical drug for localize radiotheraphy of a tumor and methods for its preparation. The drug includes a radioactive ceramic or glass particle having biocompatiblity. Ceramic or glass particles prepared by traditional processes become radioactive particles with pure .beta.-particle-emitting radionuclides after being irradiated with an appropriate flux of neutrons. The radioactive particle with suitable particle size can then be dispersed into a contrast medium for injection or can be implanted by operation.
