  • Patent number: 7549537
Abstract: A stereoscopic inner spacer composed of paper materials is described. The stereoscopic inner spacer is formed by buckling and folding. The stereoscopic inner spacer may be put in a packaging carton to provide separating compartments to support and hold objects in the packaging carton, thereby preventing the objects from damage caused by impacts and prevent the objects from damage resulting from mutual collisions.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 7, 2007
Date of Patent: June 23, 2009
    Assignee: Quanta Computer Inc.

  • Patent number: 6769543
Abstract: A stereoscopic inner spacer is disclosed. The stereoscopic inner spacer with a new structure is made from folding and crossing paper material for supporting and holding an object securely in a packaging carton and protecting the object from impacts. The stereoscopic inner spacer of the present creation substitutes the prior art that has to develop and manufacture a mold, saves the cost of developing the mold, but also improves insufficient anti-shocking ability of the inner spacer made by folding and gluing paperboards. The present creation is not required to glue together by an adhesive, and meets the trend of environmental protection.

  • Patent number: 6702180
Abstract: A stereoscopic inner spacer composed of paper materials is disclosed, and the stereoscopic inner spacer is made by using crossing and folding. The stereoscopic inner spacer is put in a packaging carton to provide objects supporting and holding, thereby preventing the objects from damage caused by impacts. Furthermore, the stereoscopic inner spacer has many partitions and is adapted to pack various components having the approximated sizes, thereby preventing the objects from intermixing and avoiding the objects from damage resulted from colliding mutually.

  • Patent number: 6481578
Abstract: A carton for packaging a plurality of substantially identical notebook computers having sides and bottoms. The carton comprises first and second parallel spaced-apart side walls, first and second parallel spaced-apart end walls adjoining the first and the second side walls to form a four-sided enclosure, and spaced-apart parallel top and bottom closures adjoining the four-sided enclosure to provide a six-sided enclosed space. Moreover, the carton comprises a first insert disposed in the enclosed space and extending substantially continuously over the bottom closure and being supported by the bottom closure. The notebook computers are disposed within the six-sided enclosed space and engaging the first insert. Furthermore, the carton comprises a second insert disposed in the enclosed space.
