Abstract: The present innovation is directed to an enclosure for a mechanical lift basket capable of capturing objects that would otherwise fall from the basket. The enclosure may possess an attachment point for netting or material to catch objects dropped outside of the lift basket. The enclosure may be extendable to accommodate lift baskets which are extendable. The enclosure may make use of a lead line to convey air to safety equipment requiring it which would otherwise be unusable in a lift basket. The enclosure may be pressurized to provide protection from toxic fumes or a climate controlled environment.
