  • Patent number: 11844746
Abstract: The invention relates to a protective housing for a biopharmaceutical liquid bag having a lower shell with a bottom and side walls, and an upper shell. The upper shell includes a housing for receiving the bag, and can be inserted into the lower shell, in such a way that the opening of the housing is adjacent to and facing the bottom of the lower shell, and in such a way that the upper shell is laterally held in place between the side walls of the lower shell.

  • Patent number: 11498739
Abstract: A 3-D flexible bag to be filled with a biopharmaceutical product is formed by assembling of two wall elements and two gussets. At least one connection port is provided, for filling and/or emptying. A substantially parallelepipedal configuration is obtained in a filled state thanks to the unfolding of the gussets combined with the folding of flaps of the two wall elements. A transverse weld, formed at one end, connects the two wall elements of the bag and extends continuously, keeping in a folded-flat state:—an elongate edge portion of one gusset;—an elongate edge portion of the other gusset. This transverse weld has a length corresponding to a determined dimension of the flexible bag in the parallelepipedal configuration.

  • Publication number: 20220119161
Abstract: A stopper configured to hermetically close a nozzle intended to contain a biopharmaceutical fluid with a cylindrical bore of diameter (D1) and a flange having a groove. The stopper has a body with a front part with a cylindrical outer wall about an axis A, with a diameter at rest greater than (D1), intended to be received under stress in the cylindrical bore of the nozzle, a stop disc extending a rear part of the body radially towards the outside and extending in a plane transverse to the axis. The body and the stop disc are rotationally symmetric about the axis A. The stop disc includes an annular bulge, interposed radially between a first annular shoulder and a second annular shoulder, the bulge extending forward from the stop disc and being intended to be received in the groove in the flange of the nozzle.

  • Patent number: 11300307
Abstract: A damper control assembly includes a damper body movable between a first threshold position and a second threshold position. A motor is operably connected to the damper body, wherein the motor drives the damper between the first threshold position to determine an open position and the second threshold position to determine a closed position. A controller is operably connected to the motor and has a stall detection module that detects a first rotor-lock condition when the motor drives the damper body to the first threshold position and a second rotor-lock condition when the motor drives the damper body to the second threshold position. The controller includes a memory module for storing the first and second threshold positions for use by the controller. The damper control assembly is calibrated to drive the damper body within an operating range having the open and closed positions and that is less extensive than a mechanical range defined by the first and second threshold positions.

  • Patent number: 11110032
Abstract: The invention relates to a 3D flexible pouch to be filled with a biopharmaceutical product, produced by assembling two wall elements and two gussets. At least one connection port can be provided for filling and/or emptying. A substantially parallelepipedic configuration is obtained in a filled state by unfolding the gussets and folding the flaps of the two wall elements. A welded seam is produced in a join portion formed at one end and cut out in a V shape, so as to directly connect the two wall elements. In a substantially flat configuration of the empty flexible pouch, the join portion projects axially outwards in relation to the gussets and is defined by two edges which are oblique in relation to a longitudinal axis of said pouch.

  • Publication number: 20190167522
Abstract: The container for a flexible bag intended to contain a biopharmaceutical fluid, includes a lower wall, two lateral walls and a transfer wall making an obtuse angle with the lower wall, so that the container is able to occupy a first position of stable equilibrium and a second position in which the transfer wall is at right angles to the vertical direction. The container is configured to pass from the first position into the second position, and vice versa, by rotation about an edge corner connecting the lower wall and the transfer wall, and is able to hold itself in the first or the second position when a mass above a predetermined threshold is in place in the container. When the container is occupying the second position, it passes, under the effect of gravity, from the second position into the first position when the mass is no longer in place in the container.
