    Abstract: A vehicle door handle assembly includes a bracket and a handle. The handle includes a first extremity and a second extremity. The first extremity is configured to move between a rest position, a deployed position outside the bracket, and an opening position to open a latch. The second extremity is configured to move between a rest position, an activation position, and a deployed position outside the bracket. The bracket includes a shock absorber provided in or attached to a rest portion of the bracket. The shock absorber is configured to cooperate with the handle when the second extremity is moved from the rest position to the activation position and when the first extremity and the second extremity are moved together from the deployed position to the rest position.

    Abstract: A vehicle door handle assembly includes a housing that sits flush against an outer panel of the vehicle, a rotatable flap housed within the housing, the flap extending along and configured to rotate about a rotation axis between a rest position and a door opening position, a mechanical actuation switch generating an electrical signal to be sent to a vehicle door controller to release the vehicle door. The door assembly includes a cam holder and a cam supported by the cam holder. The cam holder being connected to the flap such that the cam holder is rotatable about the rotation axis and that rotation of the flap causes rotation of the cam holder, rotation of the cam holder causing the cam to activate the switch.

    Abstract: In a vehicle door handle assembly, a first lever rotates between a rest position where a first extremity is in a rest position, a deployed position where the first extremity is outside a bracket, and an opening position where the first lever actuates an opening lever. A second lever rotates between a rest position where a second extremity is in a rest position, an activation position where the second extremity lowers the second lever into the bracket, and a deployed position where the second extremity is outside the bracket. A return lever includes an elastic device biasing it to a first position. Rotation of the second lever to an activation position actuates rotation of the return lever from its first to a second position. Rotation of the return lever from its second to its first position actuates rotation of the second lever from its deployed position to its rest position.
