    Abstract: A storage case for a media disc having a data receiving surface and defining a hole inwardly thereof. The storage case includes a tray for receiving the media disc. The tray comprises a disc-mounting device for mounting the media disc thereto about the hole. The disc-mounting device is adapted to be displaced between a disc-engaging position and a disc-releasing position. The tray also includes at least one disc support member for supporting the media disc when the disc-mounting device is displaced to the disc-releasing position. The disc mounting device can be either integrally mounted to the tray or be a separate body mountable thereto. The disc mounting member may also include the disc support member.
