  • Patent number: 10822223
Abstract: Device for controlling the movement of one of the ends of an articulated fluid loading arm from a storage position to a target pipe (35) and from this target pipe (35) to the storage position, said arm comprising a fluid transfer line equipped at this end with a coupling system (26), the latter being adapted to be coupled to the target pipe (35) for the transfer of the fluid, which device comprises actuators (27-29) for controlling the movement of the arm in space from the storage position until the coupling system (26) is positioned in front of the target pipe (35) for its coupling to the latter, and from the target pipe (35) to the storage position.

  • Patent number: 9486774
Abstract: The present document describes a system and a process for the thermochemical treatment a matter containing organic compounds such as biomass, for the production of useful energetic products such as biochar, bio-oil and gases from non-condensed vapors. The system comprises a reactor comprising a feedstock reservoir having entry and exit, a thermochemical reaction chamber having an entrance disposed under and coupled to the reservoir exit, an exit, and a first heating means for thermal treatment of the matter to produce a solid and a vapor. The system also comprises a feeder having at least one substantially vertical auger operatively coupled to the feedstock reservoir and the thermochemical reaction chamber exit to drive the matter downwardly from the feedstock reservoir exit through the thermochemical reaction chamber.

  • Publication number: 20140013657
Abstract: The present document describes a system and a process for the thermochemical treatment a matter containing organic compounds such as biomass in the form of animals droppings. The system and process may be used for the production of useful energetic products such as biochar, bio-oil and gases from non-condensed vapors.

  • Patent number: 6574821
Abstract: A two-directional scraping device (1;25) intended for a fluid carrying pipe includes at least one thin disk (6) made of polymer stiffened by reinforcing means (8) secured to the disk. The disk, including the reinforcement, is divided into petals by at least two radial slots (11) whose length is smaller than the radius of the disk, the radius of the disk being substantially greater than the inside diameter of said pipe.

  • Patent number: 6416086
Abstract: The invention proposes an articulated arm for transferring fluid products comprising two tubular sections (7, 8+2) connected to each other by a rotating joint (3) with a horizontal axis, and one of which, mobile in rotation, has an angular reference configuration in which it is balanced despite the effect of gravity. A balancing device (4, 10) compensates for variations in the effect of gravity on this mobile tubular section as a function of the orientation of this vis-a-vis the vertical, it is mounted between a fixed reference portion and a linkage portion of the mobile tubular section which is at a distance other than zero from the axis of rotation; it includes a spring (10) which tends to return the mobile section to its angular reference configuration (it is then idle) and applying to the mobile tubular section a force which is approximately proportional to the distance between this linkage portion and the location of this linkage portion in the angular reference configuration.
