  • Patent number: 11346058
Abstract: A multi-ply tissue paper product includes at least four plies made of tissue paper base-sheet or non-woven. Two inner plies are positioned between a first outer ply on one side and a second outer ply on another side. The two inner plies are flat plies. The first and second outer plies include a micro-embossing pattern. Only one of the outer plies further includes a décor embossing pattern. The multi-ply tissue paper product is configured to provide improved thickness and strength parameters with less use of paper fiber material.

  • Patent number: 11000162
Abstract: A multi-ply fibrous product includes at least two fibrous plies, such as a multi-ply nonwoven product, a tissue paper product or a hybrid thereof including at least two tissue paper plies and/or nonwoven plies including cellulosic fibers. At least two fibrous plies are bonded to each other by an aqueous adhesive composition including an adhesive component and a dermatologically acceptable acid, and optionally a salt thereof. A process for the manufacture of this multi-ply fibrous product includes (a) providing at least two fibrous webs, (c) applying an aqueous adhesive composition including an adhesive component and a water-soluble, dermatologically acceptable acid, and optionally the corresponding salt thereof, to at least one side of at least one fibrous web, d) superimposing at least two webs such that the aqueous adhesive composition is located between at least two superimposed webs, and e) bonding at least two webs together.

  • Publication number: 20200217018
Abstract: A coreless roll of an absorbent sheet product such as napkins, toilet paper, towels, etc., is provided made of a spirally wound continuous web of absorbent material having a first end and a second end, wherein a coating composition comprising a nonionic cellulose ether is coated onto the second end. The coreless roll has excellent stiffness and resistance to collapsing, as well as sufficient flexibility and elasticity. Moreover, the coreless roll has excellent disintegrability in water and can be used up over its whole length. A process for the manufacture of the coreless roll is also provided.

  • Patent number: 10350850
Abstract: A core intended to support a reel of paper, particularly toilet paper, is formed by winding at least one web of cellulose wadding. The core is formed by winding at least one web of cellulose wadding having at least 0.51 g of water-soluble material per gram of cellulose wadding, the water-soluble material being designed to make the web of cellulose wadding more rigid and easier to disintegrate. Thus configured, the core that has both mechanical strength fit for the intended purpose and is far easier to disintegrate than a core mad of cardboard such that it can be disposed of directly in a toilet bowl without the risk of blocking the waste pipe.

  • Patent number: 9034478
Abstract: A method for making a water-degradable paper sheet involves the following: providing at least one strip of a water-soluble binding material in the form of a dry film; providing at least two strips each made of at least one ply of cellulose wadding; placing the strip of water-soluble binding material between the two strips of cellulose wadding; humidifying, assembling and pressing the three strips; and drying the complex strip thus obtained. The sheet thus obtained can be used for making a roll carrier mandrel by helically winding one or more strips from the sheet about a cylinder. Articles produced from the sheet can particularly be used in the field of products for sanitary or domestic use.
