  • Patent number: 8439557
Abstract: The invention relates to a single piece coaxial escape wheel set (100, 100?) including a first toothing (108, 108?) formed at the periphery of a plate (103, 103?) and a second toothing (113, 113?). According to the invention, the second toothing (113, 113?) is formed in a single piece with the plate (103, 103?) of the first toothing (108, 108?) so as to reduce any problems of alignment of one in relation to the other and to decrease the overall mass of the wheel set (100, 100?). The invention concerns the field of timepieces.

  • Patent number: 7415353
Abstract: A navigation satellite receiver accepts satellite-position table messages comprising truncated GPS ephemeris parameters. In particular, at least one of the two harmonic corrections to inclination angle, Cic and Cis, are not communicated and not used in the solution of navigation receiver position. In a first method embodiment of the present invention, both the two harmonic corrections to inclination angle, Cic and Cis, are omitted from the computation. In a second method embodiment of the present invention, only one of the two harmonic corrections to inclination angle, Cic and Cis, are omitted from the computation, depending on Min(Cis sin(2?k), Cis cos(2?k)).

  • Patent number: 6584404
Abstract: A thin-client navigation-satellite receiver network collects GPS pseudorange measurements and communicates them from many independent clients on a computer network to a server. The server computes the respective navigation solutions and sends the results back to each client. A client manager at the server includes a client-request handler that interfaces with the network and collects the discrete requests from each of the clients. An assembler builds complete data sets from one to five seconds worth of data gathered by the client-request handler and spins each ready-to-go job to a bank of navigation servers. A session manager coordinates the inputs-and-results communication on the network and sends its outputs to a client responder.
