  • Patent number: 7214478
Abstract: The invention concerns a component for biological or biochemical analysis microsystems formed from a support and having at least one chemically functionalised surface zone, in order to allow in said zone the formation of a chemistry for anchoring biological or biochemical elements, and/or electrically, in order to allow in said zone the formation of electrical charges. The support comprises at least one part (21) formed of a composite material, said composite material being a mixture of at least one inert material and at least one chemically and/or electrically functionalisable material to provide said functionalised surface zone.

  • Publication number: 20060068450
Abstract: The invention relates to a micro-system intended to receive beads and to obtain a precise positioning of the beads at preset locations in the micro-system. This micro-system comprises a tank that has a cavity, the cavity being fitted with blocking elements allowing the beads to be ordered and stacked in the interstices between the blocking elements, the interstices constituting the preset locations. It also comprises a cap anchored hermetically to the tank and input means and output means allowing a fluid to flow in the cavity. The invention also relates to the implementation and use of the bead-filled micro-system.

  • Publication number: 20060048885
Abstract: The method for production of a component with a micro-joint comprises a first step of deposition of a layer of polymer designed to constitute an assembly joint on a transfer substrate, a second step of bringing the polymer layer into contact with a micro-structured substrate and a third step of removing the transfer substrate. Due to the difference of the chemical affinity between the polymer layer and the transfer substrate on the one hand and the chemical affinity between the polymer layer and the micro-structured substrate on the other hand, the zones of the polymer layer, which are in contact with the micro-structured substrate during the second step, remain on the micro-structured substrate after the third step. These zones constitute the assembly joint.

  • Publication number: 20020076561
Abstract: The invention concerns a solid support (1) having a surface (4) for immobilizing oligonucleotides, characterized in that said surface (4) is the surface of a material (3) chosen from among HfO2, TiO2, Ta2O5, ZrO2 and a mixture comprising at least one of these materials, said surface (4) having undergone a treatment to make it hydrophilic.
