  • Patent number: 8732230
Abstract: A computer or microchip comprising an internal hardware firewall configured to separate a protected side from an unprotected side of the hardware of the computer or microchip, the unprotected side being configured to connect to a network of computers; the protected side of the computer or microchip being protected by the internal hardware firewall and including at least one microprocessor or processing unit; the unprotected side of the computer or microchip being located outside of the internal hardware firewall and including one or more additional microprocessors or processing units and hardware network communications components; and the one or more unprotected microprocessors or processing units being separate from the internal hardware firewall. The unprotected side can include two or more unprotected microprocessors or processing units that are configured for parallel and/or multitasking processing.

  • Patent number: 8141276
Abstract: The invention relates to all forms of footwear and orthotics, as well as any other products benefiting from increased flexibility, better resistance to shock and shear forces, and stable support. More specifically, the invention incorporates a unitary integral component with at least one internal (or mostly internal) sipe, including slits or channels or grooves and any other shape, including geometrically regular or non-regular, such as anthropomorphic shapes, into a large variety of products using materials known in the art or their current or future equivalent. Still more specifically, the internal sipe component provides improved flexibility to products utilizing them, as well as improved cushioning to absorb shock and/or shear forces, while also improving stability of support, and therefore the siped devices can be used in any existing product that provides or utilizes flexibility, cushioning, or stability.

  • Publication number: 20120054849
Abstract: One or more computer networks having computers like personal computers or network servers with microprocessors linked by broadband transmission means and having hardware, software, firmware, and other means such that at least one parallel processing operation occurs that involve at least two computers in the network. One or more large networks composed of smaller networks and large numbers of computers connected, like the Internet, wherein more than one separate parallel processing operation involving more than one different set of computers occurs simultaneously and wherein ongoing processing linkages can be established between virtually any microprocessors of separate computers connected to the network.
