Abstract: A vehicle seat comprises a safety belt (24) having three anchoring points borne by the seat (10). The belt (24) has two straps--a diagonal strap (26) and a lap strap (28)--which are connected to the anchoring points. The diagonal strap (26) has an upper end (E1) and a lower end (E2) which is common to the lap strap (28). This upper end (E1) and this lower end (E2) are placed on opposite sides--left and right--of the seat, so that the diagonal strap (26) extends obliquely from top to bottom of the seat. The upper end (E1) and lower end (E2) of the diagonal strap (26) can be switched over between the left-hand side and the right-hand side of the seat. The seat (10) preferably comprises two upper belt turn fixtures--a left-hand one (40) and a right-hand one (42)--and the belt (24) has two catches (36,38) which are intended to be fastened into two buckles--a left-hand one (32) and a right-hand one (34)--borne by the seat.

Abstract: An articulation has two cheeks 24, 26, intended to be fixed to a seat part and a backrest of the seat. The cheeks can rotate with respect to each other about an axis X. The articulation also includes structure 30 for coupling the cheeks together, which are actuated by two rings 42a, 42b centered substantially on the axis. The rings can be moved in two opposite directions for respectively adjusting the inclination of and for folding down the backrest, between a first position in which at least one coupling member 34a, 34b is secured to the first and to the second cheek respectively, and a second position in which the coupling member is released. The rings each comprise a stud 48a, 48b formed on their interior contour, and a spring 50 hooked onto the studs to elastically return the rings in opposite directions, into their first position.

Abstract: The articulation comprises two cheeks (24, 26), one of which, which is stationary, is intended to be fixed to the seat part, and the other of which, which can move, is intended to be fixed to the backrest. The cheeks (24, 26) can rotate one with respect to the other. The articulation also includes a coupling mechanism (30) for coupling the cheeks (24, 26) together, controlled by a member (32) which can be actuated in the direction for adjusting the inclination of the backrest and in the opposite direction for temporarily folding this backrest down. The coupling mechanism (30) comprise at least one lever (34a, 34b) having two ends (36A, 36B), each of which can be secured to a cheek (24, 26) by the interaction of complementary shapes (SA, SB, TA).

Abstract: The U-shaped framework element for a seat made from a deformed hollow tube makes it possible to form a component which comprises two practically parallel branches (10) and a transverse bridge (20) which joins them together with the aid of elbows (30). In cross section, these branches (10) and elbows (30) have a channel configuration with one dished face (11) and a flat opposite face (12), and in cross section, this bridge (20) has a polygon-shaped configuration with straight sides (21) and rounded vertices (22).Use to land motor vehicles whose padding is clipped on.

Abstract: The seat structure comprises a base (10), a backrest (20) with a cushion (22), a seat (30) with a cushion (32) which has an upper face (3201) and a lower face (3202) and is divided into a fixed rear section (321) close to the backrest (20) and a front section (322) which is mounted to be movable between a normal adult position and an auxiliary child position by means of an articulation (40). This articulation (40) comprises a linkage (41) arranged in such manner that, in said normal position, the movable front section (322) is in the extension of the fixed rear section (321) and in such manner that, in the auxiliary position, the movable front section (322) is placed above the fixed rear section (321) after a rotation and a turning over upper face-down of the movable front section. A support (50) and a lock (60) maintain the movable front section in the auxiliary position. Application for example to a seat structure for a rear seat of a motor vehicle.

Abstract: The seat for a vehicle which is preferably intended to be used with a seat belt capable of assuming an active position in which it is able to keep an occupant in his seat with the aid of a strap (S) held by at least one anchoring point (A), and which comprises a seat part (10) with a cushion (11) carried by a framework (12) mounted on a subframe (14), a backrest (20) with a cushion (21) carried by a framework (22), characterized in that the framework (12) of the seat part (10) cushion (11) is mounted on the subframe (14) by interposition of a turntable (13) so that the seat part (10) cushion (11) can rotate about an axis (130) between a normal position and a turned access position and in that an anchoring point (A) of the strap (S) of the seat belt is placed, directly or indirectly, on the framework (12) of the seat part (10) cushion (11).Application to land-based motor vehicles.
