  • Patent number: 9382099
Abstract: A height access device enables motorized access to the driving station of a tower crane atop a mast formed of superposed mast elements. It includes a lift cabin installed inside the mast of the crane and movable vertically along the mast. The height access devices further includes a working platform positioned above and separably connected to the lift cabin. A coupling device provides a non-permanent connection of the working platform to the lift cabin and immobilizes the working platform relative to the mast at a required height. The height access device enables the crane driver to ascend and descend with the lift cabin alone when disconnected from the working platform and with the lift cabin and working platform together, particularly during the assembly and dismantling of the mast.

  • Patent number: 7061438
Abstract: The invention relates to radio-control of lifting machinery, and is intended to solve problems due to the presence of interfering metal masses. For this purpose, the support arm of the radio-control antenna is mounted such that it is able to be orientated about a vertical pivoting axis, on the lifting, machinery. This support arm includes a head, radially offset with respect to the axis, upon which the antenna is mounted. The support arm can occupy separate angular positions, and in particular a position in which the antenna is separated from the metal structure of the lifting machinery. This invention applies in particular to the radio-control of tower cranes.

Abstract: Radio-control antenna support arm for lifting machinery The invention relates to the radio-control of lifting machinery, and is intended to solve the problems due to the presence of interfering metal masses. For this purpose, the support arm (5) of the radio-control antenna (6) is mounted such that it is able to be orientated about a vertical pivoting axis (11), on the lifting machinery (2), this support arm (5) comprising a head (10), radially offset with respect to the axis (11), upon which the antenna (6) is mounted. The support arm (5) can therefore occupy at least two separate angular positions (A, B), and in particular a position in which the antenna (6) is separated from the metal structure of the lifting machinery (2). This invention applies in particular to the radio-control of tower cranes.

  • Patent number: 6439408
Abstract: The crane comprises a mast (6), mounted on a chassis (1, 3), and a distributor jib (7) composed of successive elements (14, 15, 16) articulated on one another about horizontal axes (24, 29), the first jib element (14) being articulated about a horizontal axis (18) on the top of the mast (6). The first jib element (14) and, if appropriate, the following element (15) can be brought into a substantially vertical position in alignment with the erected mast (6), so as to increase the height of the mast. All the jib elements (14, 15, 16) comprise a rolling track (17) for a carriage (32), and these elements can be used in various positions (B, F). A crane with modifiable configuration is thus obtained.
