  • Patent number: 11754115
Abstract: An assembly is provided for a gas turbine engine. This assembly includes a rotating structure, a stationary structure and a bushing. The rotating structure extends axially along and is rotatable about a centerline. The stationary structure extends circumferentially about the rotating structure. The stationary structure is configured from or otherwise includes stationary structure material with a coefficient of thermal expansion between 10 ?in/in-° F. and 15 ?in/in-° F. The bushing is radially between the rotating structure and the stationary structure. The bushing includes a mount and a bearing within the mount. The mount is configured from or otherwise includes mount material with a coefficient of thermal expansion between 9 ?in/in-° F. and 10 ?in/in-° F. The mount material contacts the stationary structure material. The bearing is configured from or otherwise includes bearing material, where the bearing material is engaged with and rotatably supports the rotating structure.

  • Patent number: 11171402
Abstract: A wireless telecommunication system for an equipment in an underground structure is disclosed. The system comprises a metal cover fitting in an opening of the underground structure while being supported by a shoulder. A porthole is formed in the cover. The porthole has a lens in plastic material letting radio waves pass. A cradle hangs across the opening. An antenna arrangement is mounted on the cradle and extends near and in alignment with the lens. A radio transceiver connects to the antenna arrangement and to the equipment in the underground structure to establish a wireless telecommunication with the equipment via the antenna arrangement and the lens.

  • Patent number: 10005505
Abstract: A semi-generic steering knuckle adapter assembly provides predetermined attachment locations for installing a wheel-replacing track system on a steering knuckle. The adapter assembly comprises one or more customized adapting members (e.g. frame(s), plate(s)) configured to be mounted to the steering knuckle of a vehicle, and a generic supporting member (e.g. frame, plate) configured to be mounted to the adapting member(s) and comprising the predetermined attachment locations where the support frame of the track system can be releasably yet rigidly secured. By providing predetermined and preconfigured attachment locations where the wheel-replacing track system can be secured, the adapter assembly allows the track system to be mounted to the vehicle while avoiding attachment at inconvenient and/or weak locations.
