    Abstract: Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with generating a map of cloud resources are described. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a cloud resource icon that represents a cloud resource, and generating a map of the cloud application including the received cloud resource icon. Based on information received about a relationship between resource icons in the map, a graphical representation of the relationship is included in the map. A search string input to the client terminal is received, and an appearance of a satisfying resource icon or a non-satisfying resource icon is modified within the map to graphically distinguish the satisfying icon from the non-satisfying icon.
