  • Publication number: 20230045022
Abstract: A method for augmenting a three-dimensional model of a component in a computer-aided design (CAD) environment includes indexing a first three-dimensional surface representation of a first component surface of the three-dimensional CAD model as a first function-attributed surface (FAS) element by assigning the first three-dimensional surface representation a unique first FAS ID which associates the first FAS element with the component. The first component surface is one of a plurality of component surfaces of the three-dimensional CAD model of the component. The method further includes storing at least one first scalar attribute for the first FAS element as a first FAS dataset and assigning the unique first FAS ID to the first FAS dataset. The method further includes configuring the three-dimensional CAD model to display a FAS tree that includes a plurality of FAS elements associated with the component.

Abstract: A method for augmenting a three-dimensional model of a component in a computer-aided design (CAD) includes receiving a three-dimensional CAD model of the component. The three-dimensional CAD model includes a plurality of component surfaces. The method further includes generating a first three-dimensional surface representation of a first component surface of the plurality of component surfaces and indexing the first three-dimensional surface representation as a first function-attributed surface (FAS) element by assigning the first three-dimensional surface representation a unique first FAS ID which associates the first FAS element with the component.

  • Patent number: 10442529
Abstract: A system for controlling a lateral trajectory of an aircraft includes a rudder bar. Each pedal of the rudder bar is movable between a neutral position (pn) and an end-of-travel position (pf) along a unique travel. A movement of the pedal between the neutral position (pn) and an activation position (pact) commands a lateral movement by actuating a lateral movement device of a first set including a nose gear wheel, the different braking of the aircraft being nonactive. A movement of the pedal from the activation position (pact) to the end-of-travel position (pf) commands a lateral movement by actuating a device of the first set and the differential braking. A haptic feedback generator applies a first haptic profile to each pedal between the neutral position (pn) and the activation position (pact) and a second haptic profile from the activation position (pact) toward the end-of-travel position (pf).

  • Patent number: 5214566
Abstract: To provide I.C. cards that are reinforced and above all in which the card body is compatible both with using the I.C. in the card and with using a surface of the card that is coated with a film of magnetic material, at least two reinforcing sheets made of different types of reinforcing material are provided so as to adapt the expansion coefficient and the strength coefficient of the card so that both these coefficients lie within a range that is common to both card technologies. It is shown that this provides greater synergy in use of cards having both electronic memory and magnetic memory since in spite of temperature expansion magnetic card shapes are maintained, thereby making it possible to use magnetic tracks that comply with mass data storage requirements for use with magnetic tracks.

  • Patent number: 5163077
Abstract: In order to count chip cards when they are manufactured, it is chosen to present these chip cards in lots, edgewise, in the field of an X-radiation. A measurement is made of the differential image of attenuation of the X-radiation due to the passage of this X-radiation, on the one hand through the plastic card structure, which is relatively transparent to the X-radiation, and on the other hand through the metallic connection parts of the chips. In the radiological absorption image obtained, a count is made of the number of transitions of the absorption signal. It is shown that the reliability of the counting is greatly improved, as is the security of manipulation.
