  • Patent number: 11989996
Abstract: A method and apparatus for managing storage of objects such as packages or the like. In particular, in a storage device includes at least one locker having a device for locking/unlocking the locker and a plurality of sensors designed to deliver data specific to the objects deposited in the locker. The method includes: receiving a request to store an object in a locker of the storage device; identifying an object type which matches the object to be stored; according to the object type identified, selecting, from the plurality of locker sensors, a set of sensors to be activated at least while the locker is in use; upon detecting that the locker is in use, activating the selected sensors in order to monitor the storage.

  • Patent number: 10978092
Abstract: The present invention relates to the management of devices (AP1, AP2, AP3) connected to an equipment item (EQ) in an environment (ENV). The equipment item receives and interprets signals from the environment (S1, S2, S3) and, based on an interpretation of the signals, transmits adjustment instructions (C1, C2, C3) to the devices. In particular, there is provided a sound sensor (ANT) connected to the equipment item (EQ), and one or more mechanical members (OM1, OM2) which when actuated for the purpose of adjusting at least one of the devices, causes the emission of a characteristic sound (S1, S2). The equipment item, upon receiving these sound signals from the environment, compares each sound signal to acoustic signatures predefined in a correlation table (TAB) which lists adjustment instructions (C1, C2, . . . ) according to these acoustic signatures (S1, S2; S1, S3, S4; . . .

  • Patent number: 10922238
Abstract: A method for storing content implemented by a first content reader. The first content reader includes a processor, a first memory for storing content, a virtualisation layer and a material abstraction layer. The method includes, during storage of first content in a given format, generating first standalone content, following which the first standalone content is stored in the first memory. Generating the first standalone content includes creating first container in which are stored at least the first content to be stored in the given format, and a first access processing step adapted to the given format and associated with the first content to be stored, the data stored in the first container making up the first standalone content. Thus, access to the stored content is guaranteed while the content reader is capable of implementing the access processing step stored with the content in the standalone content.

  • Patent number: 8086177
Abstract: A communications system for land vehicles usable in the field of radio communications with any electronic data processing equipment connected to a mobile telecommunications network. The communications system enables the connection of a communication terminal (TP_i) to a mobile communications network (2) from a vehicle (1) of the kind including a local network (PAN) linked to the vehicle, and a server for connecting said local network to the communications network (GPRS, UMTS). The local network (3) provides a resource (Cext) for connecting a requesting communications terminal (TP_k) and the mobile communications network (2), and resources (Cint) for setting up a connection between two mobile terminals (TP_i, TP_j) connected to the local network (PAN) linked to the vehicle.
