  • Patent number: 11762837
Abstract: An apparatus and a method allowing a pilot or more generally a crew to enrich a database of user obstacles directly inside the aircraft, on the ground and even during flight. Generally, the apparatus is based on a new software component, which allows new services to be provided for the functional avionic components and for the human machine interfaces HMI of the avionics. This new software component is configured to allow: user obstacles to be created, changed, deleted at the request of components of HMIs of the avionics; user obstacles to be sent to clients of the services of this new software component, which are either other functional components of the avionics or other components of HMIs of the avionics; user obstacles to be recorded to a nonvolatile memory and restored from this nonvolatile memory.

  • Publication number: 20200326205
Abstract: This interaction system comprising a display assembly associated with an avionic screen and including a video acquisition module configured to acquire a first graphic feed coming from an avionic system and a second graphic feed coming from an open-world equipment item, a media management module configured to control the display on the avionic screen and to generate windowing data relative to the positioning of different windows on the display screen and an interaction assembly able to generate interaction data. The system further comprises a connection box of the open-world equipment item and a control module of the open-world equipment item configured to process the windowing data and the interaction data in order to generate, from at least some of the interaction data, a command intended for the open-world equipment item.

  • Publication number: 20120280986
Abstract: In the field of secure avionics systems for aircraft, a system comprises strictly three display units and three or four graphics generation computers connected to the display units. Each display unit comprises a single large-size screen able to display two totally independent half-images, and all the power supply, control and display circuits are doubled-up such that a single failure brings about the loss, at the most, of one half-screen. Each display unit is connected to two graphics generation computers at least, such that the failure of one computer does not affect the display.
