Abstract: A chronograph mechanism for a clockwork movement is disclosed, which is intended to drive at least one first display member for displaying a time unit of a chronometered time. In accordance with one implementation, the chronograph mechanism includes a first counter associated with the display member and able to be driven from a first mobile of the clockwork movement, as well as a second mobile intended to carry the display member and arranged in such a way as to be able to be driven in synchronism with the first counter. The mechanism also includes a second counter of the same time unit associated with the display member and able to be driven in synchronism with the first counter, the second counter being arranged in such a way that the second mobile is driven thereby, while being able to exhibit a relative movement in relation thereto.
