Abstract: A pyrotechnic device having an ignition delay between a fuse or igniter and a device to be ignited, including a first element which defines a first space that houses at least one fuse or igniter, and a second element which communicates with a second space that houses the device to be ignited, moreover, the device includes a track containing an evenly burning flammable material, which is in permanent contact with the first space by a connecting portion of the first space and with the second space by an opening. The first element can slide in relation to the second element and/or vice versa such as to alter the length of the track between the connecting portion and the opening, in order to modify the duration of the ignition delay.

Abstract: A system for projecting light elements in the air, including: a casing connected to a reservoir containing the light elements and including an opening extending along a determined direction; a slide capable of sliding in the opening along the determined direction; a striker arranged in the opening and fixed with respect to the casing; a spring for sliding the slide in the opening; a shoulder for blocking the slide with respect to the casing in a stop position; a compressed gas cartridge capable of being slid along with the slide and, when the slide is blocked in the stop position, of being projected against the striker to be opened by the striker; and a channel for leading the gases released on opening of the cartridge towards the reservoir.

Abstract: The invention relates to a pyrotechnic device (10) comprising an ignition delay between a fuse or igniter and a device to be ignited, consisting of: a first element (18) which defines a first space (18) that houses at least one fuse or igniter; and a second element (12) which communicates with a second space (20) via an opening (22), said second space housing the device to be ignited. The two parts are separated by a partition and the communication means includes a track containing a slowly and regularly burning material, extending outside the cavity walls between openings communicating with each of the two cavity parts.

Abstract: A lighter than air lighting device is disclosed comprising a dual envelope balloon providing an inner, gastight, elastic, transparent, expandable polymeric envelope such as polyurethane, containing a lighter than air medium such as helium, and a replaceable lighting device such as a halogen or arc lamp. The helium thus functions to both elevate and cool the lighting device. The inner, transparent envelope is surrounded by an outer envelope such as a colored silk or nylon which functions as a diffuser to provide sufficient illumination without dazzling the user. The outer envelope may also be used to carry information and advertizing messages.
