Abstract: An electronic device for low-voltage electrical installations is provided. The electronic device includes a first operational unit having a first insulating housing, a data processing arrangement accommodated in the internal volume of the first operational unit and configured to receive and process detection signals indicative of one or more physical quantities and provided by one or more sensors, a flexible belt of magnetic material having an intermediate portion and opposite first and second end portions, a power supply arrangement configured to feed the data processing arrangement by harvesting electric energy from a magnetic field generated by a current flowing along the current carrying conductor, and a second operational unit configured to couple mechanically, in a removable manner, the first and second end portions of the belt of magnetic material one to another to secure the electronic device to the current carrying conductor.

Abstract: An emergency distillation column (2) is disclosed, connected to a plant wherein a main distillation column (1) is present. Such connection occurs by means of by-pass of the pipes which supply said main column, which by-pass has stopping means of the liquid which allow the supply of said emergency column when the pressure drops downstream of the main column exceed a preset threshold value. Preferably, said stopping means are shut-off valves (28; 33; 35). A process of use of a column (2) is furthermore described as in any one of the preceding claims wherein the pressure difference between inflow and outflow of the liquid being distilled is measured continuously and compared against a dedicated threshold. Finally, a plant for the regeneration of waste oils is disclosed, comprising a distillation column, which furthermore comprises an emergency distillation column (2), as previously defined.

Abstract: An apparatus for digitally scanning dental prosthetic implants, including a plurality of scanbodies, each surrounded by a thread ring; each thread ring engages a portion of a linking thread; each scanbody is associable with a prosthesis or with the oral cavity. The scanning method includes the steps of: removing the prosthesis from the oral cavity, associating the scanbodies with the prosthesis outside the oral cavity, associating the scanbodies with one another by means of the thread rings and the linking thread, performing a digital scan of the entire unit outside the oral cavity or screwing the scanbodies to each implant inserted in the bone, associating the scanbodies with one another by means of the thread rings and the linking thread, performing a scan in the oral cavity.

Abstract: A process is disclosed for the production of solvents and/or lubricants from renewable sources, comprising the steps of fat hydrolysis and an esterification reaction of the fatty acids with alcohols in the presence of zinc oxide. To the product of the fatty acid esterification reaction, a non-solvent is added, obtaining a precipitate that is separated from the product and used as a catalyst in the previous hydrolysis step of the fats used as a raw material. In one embodiment, said process also provides an acidification step of waste soaps and surfactants. In one embodiment, the precipitate used as a catalyst in the fat hydrolysis step can be used as a catalyst also in the fatty acid esterification reaction.

Abstract: A process for the enhancement of the byproducts of a process for the regeneration of exhaust oils is described, wherein said process for the regeneration of exhaust oils which includes at least one of the following steps: a) passing of the oil to be regenerated into one or more centrifuges, b) storage of the oil, before treatment, in suitable containers, c) desiloxanation and d) filtering. The byproducts of one or more of steps a) to d) are treated, gathered and mixed with one another and added to the bitumen coming out as tail of a fractioned distillation step of the above-said regeneration process of exhaust oils. A plant for the carrying out of a process according to any one of the preceding claims is also described, comprising a processing unit for each of the byproducts coming from steps a) to d) and a mixer (6) with stirring (7).

Abstract: A device is described for the environmental reclamation of contaminated soils through the technology known as landfarming. According to the invention, such device provides one or more tubs (1) of a rigid material, (for example a metal material or a plastic material) each equipped with a sensing probe (3) of soil moisture to be inserted thereinto for reclamation, a watering unit (5), connected to said probe (3), and a collection point (4) of soil sample to allow analysis thereof. Preferably, the tub (1) has a bottom plane (2) tilted of 0.01% to 5%.

A hardware firewall is located between the first and second applications of the first and second SSDs. The hardware firewall prevents direct data access between the first and second applications of the first and second SSDs.

Abstract: A device for transmitting in multiple coupling modes has a transmission module (11), at least one periphery module (18), and an antenna (16, 17) for each of the multiple coupling modes. Further, in a method of switching between multiple coupling modes, switching is conducted between at least polling and listening phases of first and second coupling modes. The device and the method enable a seamless switching between e.g. a near field communication and a body coupled communication. Such a coupling or switching is particularly useful for performing secure transactions whereby through body coupled communication a body-worn tag is interrogated which provides a secure code for a transaction initiated through near field communication with a transaction terminal.

Abstract: A tag store system and method for making contactless tags available to end users of tag-related software applications is described. The system and method employs an identifier for a tag ordering interface, which is generated using tag framework data for a contactless tag associated with a tag-related software application. The tag ordering interface allows the contactless tag to be ordered using the tag ordering interface. The identifier is included in the tag-related software application and is used to request for the tag ordering interface from an end user device running the tag-related software application.
