  • Publication number: 20160340899
Abstract: An adjustable connector system for stay-in place formwork has a male adjustable connector end that can be inserted into a corresponding female adjustable connector end at variable positions. Using adjustable connector ends in assembling a formwork system increases accuracy by facilitating on-site adjustability of the length and/or diameter measurements of the system. The stay-in-place formwork can be used to create building surfaces, including ceiling panels, siding and walls, and can be used for forming concrete structures, such as walls and sumps.

  • Publication number: 20050016103
Abstract: A concrete formwork system (and individual components thereof) that enables the construction of a formwork assembly in which a desired regular spacing of internal supporting members is readily maintained, and that enables the construction of a formwork assembly that is readily scalable, such that desired variations in the thickness or other dimensions of the concrete structure can be accommodated without requiring the production and use of a multiplicity of unique individual components.

  • Patent number: 6694692
Abstract: A modular assembly for creating formwork for casting vertical concrete structures is characterized by elongated wall elements which are disposed in edge to edge relationship in two facing rows and which are simultaneously retained in edge to edge relationship and in facing relationship by connecting members. Retaining elements slidably engage connecting members and wall elements in diagonal relationship. Connecting members include engagement means for cooperating with notches in rigid panels which are disposed against the interior surfaces of flat walls formed by the formwork.

  • Publication number: 20040010994
Abstract: A stay in place concrete formwork wall element comprises a major surface defining a portion of a face of the concrete wall, said surface having a plurality of uniformly sized and spaced apertures substantially throughout the surface allows concrete to seep partially through the apertures thereby providing an irregular trowelable surface facilitating the application of stucco or other wall coverings.

  • Patent number: 6219984
Abstract: Interconnectable formwork elements for casting vertical concrete structures adapted to interconnect to one another along their longitudinal sides to create a formwork for casting concrete to form a wall other vertical structure.

  • Patent number: 5740648
Abstract: A modular assembly for creating formwork for casting vertical concrete structures is characterized by elongated elements having a generally concave interior surface which are disposed in edge to edge relationship in two facing rows, and which are simultaneously retained in edge to edge relationship and in facing relationship by connecting members. The connecting members comprise an elongated wall with a central portion between two outer portions. The elements have two extensions which extend laterally along the plane of the middle side of the elements. By engaging a connecting member to an element, the outer side of the element, the extension of the element and the outer portion of the connecting member form a triangular space providing structural rigidity to the formwork.
