The two identical portions (30, 31) from the rear ends thereof up to extensions (9, 10) that laterally delimit the central channel (15) are provided with substantially flat areas (1, 2) on which the gluteal muscles of the user are intended to be positioned during use of the saddle. The substantially flat areas (1, 2) are substantially parallel to the ground on which the wheels of the bicycle rest.
