Abstract: In a non-volatile memory device, a memory sector is provided. The memory sector includes a plurality of tiles arranged horizontally. Each tile includes a plurality of memory cells arranged in horizontal word lines and vertical bit lines. A pre-decoder is configured to receive a set of encoded address signals to produce pre-decoding signals. A central row decoder is arranged in line with the plurality of tiles, receives the pre-decoding signals and produces level-shifted pull-up and pull-down driving signals for driving the word lines. First buffer circuits are arranged on a first side of each tile. Each of the first buffer circuits is coupled to a respective word line, receives a level-shifted pull-up driving signal and a level-shifted pull-down driving signal, and selectively pulls up or pulls down the respective word line as a function of the values of the received signals.

Abstract: A method, a system and a computer program manage a single sign on (SSO) session by an identity provider for a plurality of services. The method includes managing, by an identity provider, information on the SSO session via a cookie based protocol, and persisting a list of services of relying parties participating in same SSO session information in one session cookie and a plurality of temporary state cookies with randomly generated names. Whereby the list of session services are represented with a bit mask representation within the cookies and, whereby the plurality of temporary state cookies can be consolidated into one state cookie.

Abstract: Information security may include defending information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, destruction, and so forth. Described herein are systems, methods and devices for enabling a user device to implement functions for dynamically identifying and reacting to potentially malicious activity. In one example, a user device configures a sentinel node to identify potentially malicious behavior by causing the sentinel node to analyze data from selected emitter nodes and selected algorithms. The user device may also specify how the sentinel node reacts to potential malicious activity.

Abstract: An internal combustion engine includes, but is not limited to an engine block, a crankshaft associated to the engine block, a cylinder head fixed on top of the engine block so as to define an assembly axis of the internal combustion engine, a camshaft, and a housing for a timing device connecting the crankshaft to the camshaft, the housing having a frontal opening which is laterally delimited by two opposite sidewalls belonging to the engine block and two opposite sidewalls belonging to the cylinder head, the frontal opening being closed with a first cover fixed to the sidewalls of the engine block, and with a second cover fixed to the sidewalls of the cylinder head.

Abstract: A method and a system for defining additional resources in a user management system in a MES system includes providing a custom resource database at the server side with entries editable at engineering time or at run time. At engineering or at run time, a client application requests, via a local user management service, the definition of a custom resource from a centralized user management service, which in turns adds an entry related to the requested custom resource in the custom resource database. At run time, at a given event, the centralized user management service, beside transmitting other data to the local user management service, also transmits from the custom resource database additional data on the custom resources associated with the user and user groups as well as additional data on a second set of script files associated to the custom resources.

Abstract: A test arrangement for a laser threats identifying system of an aircraft comprises optical detecting means (10), adapted to pick up threat light beams (B) impinging on the aircraft (12) from a plurality of surrounding space sectors, and a threat warning unit (30), adapted to receive a plurality of actual optical signals indicative of at least one of the threat beams (B) through a plurality of optical channels (20), and arranged for comparing the actual signals with a predetermined library of reference optical signals representing known threats. The test arrangement includes a light emitting source (L) arranged for selectively generating a plurality of predetermined optical signals for simulating virtual threats (S1-Sn), and a plurality of optical guides (F1-Fn) for the simulation signals (S1-Sn), directly coupled with the source (L) and adapted to be connected to the aforementioned optical channels (20—120_n) for selectively stimulating the threat warning unit (30).

Abstract: Management of software licenses in a client-server mode starts with a license policing based on clustering, nominally, into differently valued bundles many variegated applications to be licensed. Applications have an initial size which can be upgraded on request. The size may encompass a variable number of different entities. Two management processes run concurrently at the server side: a first one is dedicated to distribute licenses for new software applications and licenses for upgrading to new versions of previously licensed applications, and further checking any attempt to violate a software license; a second one, upon reception of specific requests by licensees, calculates the number of credits which are needed for upgrading the size previously licensed for applications, checks that available credits at the requesters be sufficient for upgrading, otherwise sends back a warning for insufficient credits.

Abstract: An alarm system for preventing loss or theft of one or more articles includes an ultrasonic transmitter incorporated in the article(s) to be protected, and a monitoring unit provided with a receiver for receiving the ultrasonic signal from said transmitter and triggering an alarm, for example when the distance between the receiver and transmitter exceeds a predetermined value. The monitoring unit periodically interrogates the protected articles by transmitting a coded RF signal which is decoded and identified by the protecting device of the concerned article, the article emitting an ultrasonic coded signal in response. The ultrasonic coded signal is received by the monitoring unit and triggers an alarm when predetermined conditions are met. Two receiving channels can be arranged in space diverse relationship for better receiving the ultrasonic signal, and the distance between the monitoring unit and the article to be protected can be adjusted.

Abstract: A continuous process is disclosed for the production, with a high yield, of high purity silicon tetrafluoride, starting from an aqueous solution of fluorosilicic acid, which comprises:(a) reacting an aqueous solution of fluorosilicic acid with concentrated sulphuric acid, carried out with a short residence time and preferably under fluido-dynamic conditions of turbulence, inside a reaction zone;(b) separating a gaseous stream containing silicon tetrafluoride from a liquid stream of aqueous sulphuric acid, carried out inside a separation zone, directly connected with the reaction zone;(c) washing said gaseous stream with concentrated and cold sulphuric acid carried out inside a washing zone, for the purpose of separating a gaseous stream of purified silicon tetrafluoride; and, possibly(d) further purifying said gaseous stream of purified silicon tetrafluoride by means of techniques of adsorption on an adsorbent solid material.
