  • Patent number: 4773574
Abstract: The pack frame has first and second rectangular frames pivotally interconnected to allow the frames to be opened to the limit imposed by a fabric seat mounted between the top members. A safety strap connects the bottom frame members to act as a back-up limit on separation of the frames. The frames can be collapsed or folded and carried by shoulder straps connected to one of the frames at the top cross member and to the sides of the frame below the pivot. An optional backrest is fixed to the one frame to serve to support cargo when the frames are used as a backpack or to pivot, by removal of one of two mounting pins on each side to a lowered position, or to serve as a backrest when the seat is used. Optional side cargo bags are mounted to the pivot pins and are connected to each other by a strap passing over the seat. The invention also provides a spliced joint for each rectangular frame in the medial portion of the lower cross member.

  • Patent number: 4660538
Abstract: The stabilizer has the threaded end of a mounting bolt projecting from a tube. The bolt head is inside the tube. A spring is compressed between the bolt head and a seat bearing against a shoulder surrounding the opening through which the bolt projects. An adjusting nut on the bolt bears against a bumper bearing on the other side of the shoulder. Adjusting the nut adjusts the spring force to vary the effect generally to match the draw weight of the bow. A lead weight is press-fit in the open end of the tube which is closed by a plastic plug or, in the alternative, by an adapter into which a supplemental weight is screwed or a "tracker" is screwed.

  • Patent number: 4637622
Abstract: One version of the safety strap is permanently connected to the wire frame adjacent the child seat in a shopping cart. The other version weaves the belt through the wire. Both belts restrain a child from standing and then falling out of the cart. The free end of either strap has a D ring sewn into the end. This prevents disassembly with consequent change of improper reassembly.

  • Patent number: 4636125
Abstract: The mounting device has an elongated body having a wood screw on one end and a (machine screw) threaded hole at its other end. The drift pin mounted in the cross bore provides a handle for screwing the body into a tree or post. The body at said other end has a hexagonal exterior enabling use of a wrench to screw the device into the tree. When the device is mounted in a tree an archer can transfer the container of a "trailer" from his bow to the device, thus freeing the archer to do other things while waiting for his prey to die.
