  • Publication number: 20220164616
Abstract: An authentication system includes a label having at least three codes which are not known from a single database when the label is produced, but from at least two databases generated by independent processes such that it is not possible, without consulting the different databases, to know if a label is authentic, even when the three codes become accessible in the public domain. More particularly, an authentication system includes a label having at least three codes for identifying and validating the authenticity of said label, where the system includes:—at least two independent databases in which said at least three codes are entered, and each database includes, an unknown code from the other database, and a known code from the two databases, said known code being paired with one of said unknown codes.

  • Publication number: 20220036374
Abstract: A method for the traceability and authentication of a product, in which a product is marked with an authenticating element and a tracking element, is provided. The method includes supplying a set of authenticating elements, wherein a digital representation of each authenticating element is recorded in a ED-EA database, generating a set of tracking elements, said tracking elements being recorded in a ED-ESP database, the ED-ESP database being independent of the ED-EA database; and marking products, in which the product is physically associated with a combination formed by an available unique tracking element from the set of tracking elements, and by an independent unique authenticating element from the set of authenticating elements, the combination of the tracking element and the authenticating element not being recorded during the marking step in the respective data-bases or in any other database.

  • Publication number: 20210359870
Abstract: A method of printing and of authenticating a marking, having a visible printed anti-copy pattern produced by pseudorandom noise that is generated on the basis of a secret generation key, includes processing at least one image of the printed anti-copy pattern. The anti-copy pattern is printed onto a marking substrate using predetermined printing conditions. The phase of marking control involves: regenerating the pseudorandom noise on the basis of the secret generation key; creating, computationally, a digital file of an image of a simulated printed anti-copy pattern which corresponding to a projected printing quality of the regenerated pseudorandom noise; capturing at least one image of the printed anti-copy pattern; and comparing the captured image of the printed anti-copy pattern with the image of the simulated anti-copy pattern in order to determine, computationally, a mathematical distance between the image of the printed anti-copy pattern and the image of the simulated anti-copy pattern.

  • Patent number: 8576070
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and device for verification of non-violation of the integrity of a system or the identity of an object. An authentication seal is used, comprising a physical authenticator with bubbles (3) produced by a chaotic process on the production thereof, a characteristic of which is to be always unique and non-reproducible. A representation of said identifier with bubbles is stored in the form of an image and/or digitally in a database local or remote to the address (17), for authentication of the assignment of the identifier in situ or on the object for protection. Said authenticator is provided with a physical connection (16) which permits connection to the site or object for identification. Any attack on the integrity of the seal, whether on the authenticator and/or the connection, irreversibly alters the total seal such as to render the same un-reusable.

  • Patent number: 8282066
Abstract: The present invention is a method for using a universal support consisting of one or more modules having a deformable enclosure (3) connected to a vacuum source (5) through an orifice. Said enclosure is of concave shape forming a chamber (6) provided with a flexible body (7). The method consists in the following series of steps: applying a vacuum to the chamber (6) so that the deformable enclosure (3) collapses; positioning the part which is to be supported; breaking the vacuum in the chamber (6); and applying a vacuum inside the deformable enclosure (3).

  • Patent number: 8256688
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for certifying and subsequently authenticating original physical or digital documents. The concept of the evidence lies in the dual nature of a physical information item and a digital information item, one being the reference for the other that cannot lie amended at the risk of the evidence being lost. For a physical original document associated with a bubble seal there is a corresponding time-and-date-stamped, proprietary paperless reference counterpart. For a time-and-date-stamped, proprietary digital original document there is a corresponding reference counterpart in the form of a bubble seal.

  • Patent number: 7731166
Abstract: The invention concerns a process and the associated universal device for supporting a part (1) of random and/or possibly complex shape in relation to a rigid base (11) while establishing a work reference. It consists of inserting between the part to be held and the rigid base (11), at least one deformable airtight enclosure (3) of constant volume full of incompressible particles (4). Then vacuum is applied inside the deformable enclosure (3) of constant volume using a vacuum source (5) which can be connected to the deformable enclosure (3). Thus the particles (4) amalgamate to constitute a solid block which at least partially rests on the rigid base (11) and holds the part (1) matching its shapes.

  • Patent number: 7726708
Abstract: High security seal that can be reused an indefinite number of times because the authenticating part evolves in a chaotic manner each time the seal is opened and then put back into service. This seal is composed of at least two authenticators (1) and (2) at least one of which is movable with respect to the other into the open position. These two authenticators become fixed and stable in the closed position. In each new fixed position, the two authenticators cooperate to generate a new authenticating feature that is stored in a database in order to be compared during a check. This feature will be cancelled and replaced with another one when said seal is fraudulently or deliberately opened and thus will provide proof that it has been opened.

  • Patent number: 7647279
Abstract: A method for making transactions secure based upon a card-type medium (2) comprising a number (4) and a remote database (5) connected to a telecommunications network. A unique and non-reproducible identifier (3) in the form of a bubble code is physically affixed to the card (2) comprising a number (4) contained either on a magnetic strip, of a bar code, or in an electronic label. One representation of this identifier (6) and or (7) is stored in the remote database (5) at the same number (4) as that present on the medium. This identifier (3) constitutes an unforgeable link between the magnetic strip (1) and the database (5). When a call is made to the remote database by means of the number recorded on the card, a link authentication is performed by comparing the representation of the identifier stored in said database and the actual identifier.

  • Patent number: 7438237
Abstract: Identification and authentication procedure without specific reader of a three-dimensional identifier (1), (9), (10), (11) attached to an object or living being by using sensory capabilities of the human being notably its stereoscopic vision capabilities (A) and its tactile sense (A?) permitting the appreciation of the particularity of the identifier which renders the latter difficult or impossible to reproduce which are, for example, heterogeneities mixed in a transparent material or surface ridges and/or cavities. The identification or reading is then carried by the visual comparison (B) of a two-dimensional representation image (2) of the identifier (1) (9) (10) (11) stored in a database (4) accessible by a network (5) and the identifier himself.
