Abstract: A system for providing guidance to collaboration participants in a collaboration space, the system comprising facilitator database storing characterizing rules for assessing conditions of a collaborative activity; a monitor associated with the collaboration space, the monitor configured to obtain information associated with the collaboration space that is indicative of conditions related to a collaborative activity performed within the collaborative space; a status device; and a processor linked to the facilitator database, the monitor and the status device, the processor programmed to perform the steps of: obtaining information from the monitor; accessing the characterizing rules; comparing the obtained information to the characterizing rules to assess conditions related to the collaborative activity; and based on the comparison, controlling the status device to indicate conditions of the collaborative activity.
