    Abstract: A cathode ray tube monitor includes a cathode ray tube having a printed circuit board mounted to and supported by the cathode ray tube. A mounting ring or collar is attached to the rear surface of the cathode ray tube at the transition between the neck portion and the bell portion of the tube. The printed circuit board has an aperture therein to permit coaxial alignment of the printed circuit board with the neck portion of the cathode ray tube. The printed circuit board is connected to and supported by the mounting ring or collar.
