    Abstract: A roof facia arrangement comprising part of an overall facia system is disclosed herein. The arrangement includes a facia receiver which is adapted to rest in a self-aligning fashion against adjoining top and side surfaces at the top edge portion of a building and a facia cover plate which is adapted to interlock with the facia receiver in a horizontally free-floating and moisture sealing fashion. The arrangement also includes a flashing membrane which is adapted to cooperate with the facia receiver and facia cover plate to provide an effective moisture seal at the top edge of the building and which is not pierced or otherwise damaged by fastening elements used in assembling the roof facia arrangement.

    Abstract: A roof arrangement including a metal roof deck and roof insulation sheet material positioned on top of the deck is disclosed herein. The roof insulation sheet material is fastened to the deck utilizing a roof fastener which is also disclosed herein. This fastener includes a longitudinal body with a pointed metal tip affixed to one end of the body. The longitudinal body has a circumferential outer portion located adjacent to and extending longitudinally back from the metal tip. This circumferential outer portion has a maximum outer cross-section greater than that of the metal tip and is constructed of a non-metallic material having a lower hardness than that of the tip.

    Abstract: An overall roof arrangement is disclosed herein and includes a roof structure comprised of a roof deck, roof insulation disposed over the deck and a built-up roof disposed over the insulation. This overall arrangement also includes a one-way vent through which moisture within the roof structure and subsequently converted to vapor passes to the ambient surroundings. However, this vent prevents moisture vapor in the ambient surroundings from being drawn back into the roof structure through the vent.

    Abstract: A roof vent support arrangement for use in a roof structure including a roof deck and a built-up roof thereon and provided for supporting a vent pipe extending beyond the roof structure through an opening therein is disclosed herein. This arrangement includes a roof deck connector connected to the top surface of the roof deck directly over the vent opening in the deck and around the vent and a vertically adjustable tubular vent connector positioned over the built-up roof and around both the deck connector and vent. The arrangement also includes resilient members fixedly connected with the vent connector for allowing the deck connector to be readily inserted therein and, once inserted, for preventing its separation from the vent connector.
