  • Patent number: 11936938
Abstract: Systems, methods, and media for presenting media content are provided. In some implementations, a system for presenting media content is provided, the system comprising: a hardware processor that is programmed to: establish a connection with a media playback device; respond to a discovery request from a computing device presenting a media content item; establish a persistent communication channel with the computing device over a network in response to a request from the computing device to establish the persistent communication channel; receive identifying information of the media content item being presented by the computing device and identifying information of a source of the media content item being presented by the computing device; request the media content item from the identified source of the media content item as a stream of media content; and cause the media content item to be presented using the media playback device.

  • Patent number: 11330067
Abstract: As described herein, a system, method, and computer program are provided for a platform managing service provisioning for a communication service provider (CSP) and digital content partner integration. In use, a digital content partner is onboarded to a platform. Additionally, CSP is onboarded to the platform. Further, service provisioning for an integration of the CSP and the digital content partner is managed by the platform.

  • Publication number: 20090119039
Abstract: An electrical power metering system. The electrical power metering system may include a plurality of gated power receptacles, each of the gated power receptacles being configured to selectively provide electrical power in response to receiving a wireless signal. The system may further include a service application configured to receive a request to provide electrical power for one of the plurality of gated power receptacles, the request including an identifier that designates the one of the plurality of gated power receptacles at which electrical power is requested. The system may further include a local host application executable on a computing device, the local host application being configured to send the wireless signal via a coordinator module to the one of the plurality of gated power receptacles to provide electrical power in response to receiving a communication from the service application that includes the identifier.

  • Patent number: 7029667
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an isolated DNA molecule from Erwinia amylovora that encodes a protein or polypeptide which elicits a hyersensitive response in plants. This isolated DNA molecule can used to impart disease resistance to plants, to enhance plant growth, and/or to control insects on plants. Plants or plant seeds transformed with a DNA molecule encoding a hypersensitive response elicitor protein or polypeptide can be provided and the transgenic plants or plants resulting from the transgenic plant seeds are grown under conditions effective to impart disease resistance, to enhance plant growth, and/or to control insects on plants or plants grown from the plant seeds.

  • Patent number: 6855683
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an isolated protein or polypeptide which elicits a hypersensitive response in plants as well as an isolated DNA molecule which encodes the hypersensitive response eliciting protein or polypeptide. This isolated protein or polypeptide and the isolated DNA molecule can used to impart disease resistance to plants, to enhance plant growth, and/or to control insects on plants. This can be achieved by applying the hypersensitive response elicitor protein or polypeptide in a non-infectious form to plants or plant seeds under conditions effective to impart disease resistance, to enhance plant growth, and/or to control insects on plants or plants grown from the plant seeds.
