  • Publication number: 20190329931
Abstract: A method for producing a cardboard box comprising a rigid window made of a transparent material extending over at least two adjacent faces of the box includes the following steps: supplying a continuous width of rigid transparent plastic, the width of which corresponds to the deployed width of the window; forming in the continuous width of rigid transparent plastic a succession of longitudinal cuts distributed longitudinally with a spacing corresponding to the width of the window and laterally according to the widths of the adjacent faces.

  • Publication number: 20190144160
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a package composed of two cardboard bases and a window extending on the lateral faces between the cardboard bases involves preparing cardboard cutouts by cutting out, from a sheet, two parts that correspond, respectively, to the shape of the first and second cardboard base joined together by separable connecting zones. The cutouts are placed on a conveyor belt. Pressing rollers are applied to the cutouts and one of the rollers in contact with one of the parts is slowed down with respect to the roller in contact with the other part in order to cause tearing of the separable zones. The two parts are repositioned by moving them apart by a distance corresponding to the height of the window. The window is deposited in order to bond the edges on the corresponding edges of the parts, which are thus repositioned.

  • Patent number: 7441653
Abstract: A package for a digital recording support in the form of a disk formed by a plate with a disk centering piece, wherein the plate comprises at least two radial shoulders defined to cover, when at rest, a marginal zone of the disk and define with the bottom of the plate a slot with a height approximately equal to the thickness of the disk.

  • Publication number: 20070181454
Abstract: A device for packing digital media such as discs, CDs and DVDs. The device includes a plastic case made up of at least one tray articulated by a hinge, one of the trays having a holder for at least one disc. It includes a binding formed by a sheet having two main blanks which are shorter than the length of the length of the tray and a spine formed by three sections delimited by creases. The length of the median section substantially matching the thickness of the plastic case and the length of the two lateral sections substantially matching the difference between the length of the shell and the length of the main blank.

  • Patent number: 6594969
Abstract: Apparatus for assembling products including at lest one rigid thin part of a first type (in particular a compact disc tray) glued on a plane part of a second type (in particular a casing formed by a pre-cut cardboard matrix), including at least one suction belt for carrying the planar parts of the second type, at least one loader for feeding a gripping device with the parts of the first type and at least one gripping device comprising a turntable turning around a transversal axis parallel to the tray, the turntable supporting a plurality of sucker supports for gripping the parts of the first type and depositing them on the parts of the second type, characterized in that the sucker support has a configuration able to ensure displacement of the sucker corresponding to a degree of freedom in translation parallel to a single radial axis only.

  • Patent number: 6431539
Abstract: The invention concerns a method for unstacking sheets stacked in a feeder, comprising a step which consists in bringing a vacuum cup close to the surface of the sheet at the top of the stack; a step which consists in contacting the vacuum cup with the surface of said top sheet and a step in bringing the vacuum cup away after seizing the top sheet. The invention is characterized in that the vacuum cup is applied in an off-center zone of the top sheet, and said vacuum cup is inclined, when it starts to move away, so as to cause the top sheet to be deformed thereby producing a separation prior to complete separation of the top sheet.
