  • Publication number: 20210372717
Abstract: The present invention relates to a receiver stabilizing fixture for use with the receiver of a firearm. The stabilizing fixture interfaces with bracketry or a pre-existing element of the firearms design. The stabilizing fixture is mounted to the firearm through means common to the art, such as pins or screws. The stabilizing fixture allows for recoil forces to be better distributed in the firearm. This reduces wear on recoil sensitive parts.

  • Patent number: 10161718
Abstract: A scope magnification adjustment apparatus for use with an optical scope. A scope mount is mounted to a optical scope by means of scope rings. A series of gears is used to rotate a twist ring on the scope to increase or decrease magnification of the optical scope. A mount gear positioned on the mount may be rotated using a lever, power drive, or worm drive mechanism. The rotation of the mount gear rotates a scope gear positioned around the scope and connected to the twist ring on the scope. As the gears rotate, the twist ring rotates and manipulates the magnification.

  • Patent number: 10073277
Abstract: A reticle for use in a firearm scope that compensates for the trajectory of a bullet, allowing the shooter to accurately engage the target despite the target's distance from the shooter. The reticle uses a number of trajectory arcs and distance markings that correspond to the target's size and distance to provide the shooter with an accurate aiming of the target. Once the outer edges of the target aligns with the trajectory arcs the target is ready to be engaged. Distance markings, windage markings, and reticle illumination provide for further accuracy of the shot. A milling tree integral to the reticle provides for a quick determination of the target's distance, particularly in instances when the target is not intended to be engaged.

  • Publication number: 20170146308
Abstract: A magazine well insert operable to allow a firearm user to insert the magazine of a second firearm model into the magazine well of a first firearm model. The magazine well insert may be made of two interlocking pieces that have an external shape that matches the shape of the magazine well of the first firearm model and an internal shape that matches the magazine shape of the second firearm model. The magazine of the second firearm model is inserted into the insert which is then inserted into the magazine well of the first firearm model, allowing use of different magazine types in different firearm models.

  • Publication number: 20170115078
Abstract: A bolt carrier group includes one or more interchangeable weights that allows the user to control the weight of the bolt carrier group. One or more interchangeable weights are secured inside compartments of the bolt carrier group body such that the weight of the bolt carrier group can be changed depending on desired use of the firearm. The change in weight of the bolt carrier group allows the user to control the recoil of the firearm, the firing rate of the firearm, and the type and caliber ammunition that may be used with the bolt carrier group.

  • Publication number: 20160370135
Abstract: A recoil impulse reducing bolt carrier group includes a main bolt carrier group body for the intended weapon system and a recoil impulse reducing assembly. The recoil impulse reducing assembly fits inside the main bolt carrier group body. The recoil impulse reducing assembly includes an interchangeable weight and a dampener, such as springs or fluid. The weight moves within the main bolt carrier group body under hydraulic and/or spring tension. The recoil impulse reducing bolt carrier group manipulates weight distribution during the operation of the firearm to prevent and reduce front and rear recoil forces from affecting the firearm.
