Abstract: A case for enclosing phonograph records and the like is disclosed which provides for rigid support of the record and protection from scratching, dust and moisture without allowing the surface of the case to contact the record's grooved surfaces thereby damaging those surfaces. The molded case is formed of a lid and a body hingedly joined at one edge of each. The lid and body are molded to form flush joints and a centering pin together with annular bearing zones. Together these insure the record stays in position within the case, is protected from crushing force external to the case and is further protected from moisture and scratching.
