  • Patent number: 11650992
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system for performing a method for scaling one or more query processes elastically. The method includes a first step of receiving a request for running the one or more query processes concurrently. In addition, the method includes another step of pre-determining amount of space required for efficient operation and processing of the one or more query processes. Further, the method includes yet another step of creating one or more virtual spaces in a query space outside the data space for efficient running of the one or more query processes. Furthermore, the method includes yet another step of decompressing compressed data stored in the one or more memory regions of the data space requested by the one or more query processes. Moreover, the method includes yet another step of compressing decompressed data present in the virtual space of the one or more virtual spaces.

  • Publication number: 20100225590
Abstract: A portable wearable input apparatus and method are provided for furnishing input to one or more devices. The portable wearable input apparatus comprises a wearable unit, for example, a mitten, a finger band, etc., configured to conform to a wearer's body part, keystroke registering units detachably disposed on the wearable unit, a mounting unit, and removable electrical connectors. The chamber accommodates the wearer's body part, for example, the wearer's hand. A thumb opening is disposed alongside the chamber of the wearable unit for passing the wearer's thumb. The keystroke registering units enable the wearer to register keystrokes on activation. The mounting unit is in electric communication with the keystroke registering units. The mounting unit mechanically supports the keystroke registering units and transmits the registered keystrokes to the devices.
