Abstract: In the field of IT, and in particular to distributed data storage across a plurality of storage servers, the disclosed distributed backup method includes the following steps: dividing the data so as to obtain data blocks; determining, for each block, a particular server from the plurality of storage servers; and memorising each block in the determined server. The determination of the particular server is a function of a current time instant. It can also be a function of a private key of the user. The key is used to form a mask. The latter is offset as a function of the current time instant. Then, the offset mask and the complementary mask thereof are applied, respectively, to two server distribution tables in order to identify the servers to be used for each of the data blocks. The blocks can change servers at each new time instant.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a system and method for electronic money withdrawal. This operation is implemented by a transfer of electronic money from the user electronic wallet to a money distribution authority, typically a bank. Advantageously, a strong authentication occurs previously with the bank. The transfer includes the ATM identifier. A delivery identifier is delivered to the user. The user is then goes to the ATM and proceeds to the withdrawal with its GSMT id and delivery id. Accordingly a robust and reliable withdrawal is possible. It may be actually done at the ATM without the mobile device handling the electronic wallet.

Abstract: A method is provided for supplying data to represent the availability value of a plurality of resources that includes receiving a request for presentation of an availability value for a plurality of resources and determining at least two resources having representative values that can be received, two representative values are received each corresponding to a respective one of the two resources and supplying data to represent the calculated availability value. The method includes receiving two criticality coefficients corresponding to the two resources, and calculating the availability value from the two representative values and the two criticality coefficients.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a system and method for implementing the manipulation and the transfer of money representing an amount of money that is not a multiple of the smallest face value of banknotes used in the monetary system. Such an amount of money may be divided in an amount being a multiple of the smallest face value of banknotes used in the monetary system and a reminder of a value lower than the smallest face value of banknotes called a fractional amount in the following. It is proposed to manage the fractional amount of money using fraction of banknotes in a clearing mechanism. The data structure representing a banknote may be tagged as fractioned and associated to a counter of value units in the electronic wallet corresponding to the smallest value being manipulated in the system. These value units may be exchanged between two fractioned electronic banknotes.

It is also proposed a data record to implement efficiently the electronic money. Its purpose is to make the check of the consistency of the history of transactions related to a particular electronic banknote easier. The proposed solution minimizes the access to the database by embedding the history of transaction within the coding of the electronic banknote itself.

Abstract: In order to establish a packet communication between a first server (SS) connected to a packet network (RP) and a service entity (ES) capable of communicating without a subscriber identification module in a radiocommunication network (RR), the service entity transmits an identifier (IdEs) of the service entity (ES) to a second server (SO) that determines an address (Ads) of the first server based on the received service entity identifier. The second server transmits the determined address of the first server to a gateway that interconnects the radiocommunication network and the packet network. The gateway establishes a communication between the service entity and the first server based on the address of the first server.

Abstract: A method of supplying data to represent the availability value of a plurality of resources, the method comprising the steps consisting in receiving a request for presentation of an availability value for a plurality of resources, in determining at least two resources having representative values that can be received, receiving two representative values each corresponding to a respective one of said two resources, of supplying data to represent said calculated availability value, of receiving two criticality coefficients corresponding to said two resources, and of calculating said availability value from said two representative values and said two criticality coefficients.
