  • Publication number: 20160024631
Abstract: A method of converting an alloy comprising a majority of titanium, the method comprising: a step of fabricating an ingot (1); steps of a first type (A, B, C) of plastically deforming the alloy at a temperature higher than the ? transus temperature T?; steps of a second type (A?, B?) of plastically deforming the alloy at a temperature lower than the ? transus temperature T?. These step of the first and second types (A, A?, B, B?, C) are performed in the following sequence: a first step of the first type (A) at a first temperature T1; a first step of the second type (A?); a second step of the first type (B) at a second temperature T2 lower than T1; a second step of the second type (B?); and a third step of the first type (C) at a third temperature T3 lower than T2.

  • Patent number: 7210909
Abstract: A first rotor piece includes a first ring provided with a succession of holes and notches. An assembly is formed by a second rotor piece fixed to a third rotor piece. The second piece ends downstream in a second ring including holes. The third piece ends upstream in a third ring including holes. The second and third rings are arranged against each other with their holes in alignment, and are fixed together by first fasteners. The first ring is arranged upstream of and against the assembly so that the notches fit around the first fasteners so that some of the holes of the first ring are aligned with holes of the assembly, with second fasteners fixing the first ring to the assembly.

  • Patent number: 7125227
Abstract: A monobloc bladed disc and a process for manufacturing or repairing a monobloc bladed disc, where the process includes forming, on a protruding projection belonging to a disc and extending from an upstream end to a downstream end along a protruding projection chord, a welded joint surface intended to allow a subsequent stage of fitting a blade by linear friction welding onto the protruding projection of the disc. The forming the welded joint surface is carried out in such a way that it includes at least two butt-jointed plane portions arranged in sequence along the protruding projection chord.

  • Publication number: 20050098608
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for manufacturing or repairing a monobloc bladed disc including a stage of forming, on a protruding projection (4) belonging to a disc (1) and extending from an upstream end (4a) to a downstream end (4b) along a protruding projection chord (6), a welded joint surface (8) intended to allow a subsequent stage of fitting a blade (2) by linear friction welding onto the protruding projection (4) of the disc (1). According to the invention, the stage of forming the welded joint surface (8) is carried out in such a way that it includes at least two butt-jointed plane portions (8a, 8b, 8c), arranged in sequence along the protruding projection chord (6). Application to turboshaft engine rotors.

  • Publication number: 20050025625
Abstract: The invention relates to a connection between a first piece (D1) ending in a first ring (12) provided with a succession of holes and notches, the axis of the first ring being centred on the axis of rotation of the compressor rotor in order to be attached to the intake of the compressor rotor, and an assembly formed by a second rotor piece (D2) fixed to a third rotor piece (D2). The second piece (D2) forms the intake of the compressor rotor and ends downstream in a second ring (32) comprising holes. The third piece ends upstream in a third ring (32) comprising holes, and the second and third rings are arranged against each other, so as to place their holes in alignment, and are fixed together by first fastening means.
