  • Patent number: 4693033
Abstract: A mechanism for opening, closing and locking doors with two leaves for cable cars, wherein the two leaves of a car door are controlled at the top and the bottom by a crank lever integral with a control piece movable horizontally in the vertical plane of symmetry of the two door leaves. Each crank lever acts on a horizontal toggle joint with dead point clearance whose links are pivotally secured respectively to levers rotating about fixed vertical axes forming the axes of rotation of the two door leaves, said levers being connected respectively to the radial arms of the door leaves by resilient connections providing locked closure of the leaves even if one of them is held slightly open.

  • Patent number: 4635561
Abstract: A cabin of an aerial cableway having a generally square shape and at least a door opening on the whole lateral wall. The door comprises two panels adapted to abut one another for closing the door opening and to move symmetrically away along a curved path towards the open position. In the open position each panel covers one half face of the end wall. An actuating mechanism includes link rods secured to the roof and to the floor of the cabin for guiding and moving symmetrically the door panels.

  • Patent number: 4338863
Abstract: This suspension device for the car of a ropeway comprises a pneumatic balloon tire interposed between the bottom of a carrying strap suspended from the wire rope of the ropeway and an upper frame of the car framework which bears upon the tire.

  • Patent number: 4303016
Abstract: This chair-lift cab for telpher lines has its seat protected by a shell pivoted about a transverse axis close to its center of gravity, at the front end of a bow pivoted in turn about another transverse axis at the rear of the first axis and close to the center of gravity of the bow and shell assembly, the upper portion of the shell being connected laterally to the frame structure of the chair-lift by means of arms pivoted at their ends, so that the space in front of the seat is cleared when the shell is tipped to its open position as a consequence of its double rotation about the two transverse axes, thus providing a balancing action insensible to gravity and dynamic forces.

  • Patent number: 4149471
Abstract: The gondola for an aerial ropeway comprises on a same lateral side two access openings extending from top to bottom and adapted to be cleared by pivotal movements of two portions of the gondola wall. It comprises a central ring rigid with the carrier frame and a pair of molded plastic half-shells constituting these two portions and adapted to pivot about separate axes away from a narrow side of the central ring while surrounding the opposite wide side thereof in order to clear two apertures on each side of a pair of bench seats disposed back to back. This arrangement is applicable to automatic opening and closing gondolas.

  • Patent number: 3931769
Abstract: This cabin gondola or car for ropeway, intended for transporting passengers between two stations on a rope driving a plurality of disconnectable cabins or cars, has an automatic door opening and closing mechanism and the two doors are slidably mounted on the same side of the two-shell cabin housing for closing corresponding apertures somewhat spaced so as to leave a solid wall section therebetween, the mechanism actuating said doors causing same to be superposed to each other against said solid wall portion, a pair of bench-forming seats being disposed transversely and back-to-back, very close to each other, in the tranverse space extending normally to said solid wall portion.
