  • Publication number: 20220012237
Abstract: Extracting data from traffic logs using regular expressions. A traffic log is received from a network device. A characterization of an extraction of data from the traffic log is determined. The traffic log is parsed by applying a first regular expression to the traffic log according to the characterization of the extraction of data from the traffic log to generate parsed data. Data is extracted from the traffic log by applying a second regular expression to the parsed data according to the characterization of the extraction of data from the traffic log to generate extracted data.

  • Publication number: 20210075684
Abstract: VPN data for building and maintaining VPNs through a public network is gathered. The VPN data is maintained, at a DNS server, as part of a DNS table. A portion of the VPN data is provided as part of a DNS view of the DNS table to a client device. A VPN mode indicating a manner to establish a VPN node for the client device through the public network is determined using the portion of the VPN data. When the client device is coupled to the public network the VPN node is established and maintained according to the VPN mode using the portion of the VPN data.

  • Patent number: 9131804
Abstract: A toaster comprises a housing, at least one spring-loaded bread tray, one or more heating elements, a bread tray retaining mechanism, a bread tray partial retaining mechanism, and a lifter arm slot. The bread tray is movable between an up position and a down position and is biased toward the up position. The bread tray retaining mechanism selectively retains the bread tray in the down position while the toasting operation is in progress and releases the bread tray from the down position when the toasting operation is complete. The bread tray partial retaining mechanism selectively retains the bread tray in a position between the down position and the up position after the bread tray is released by the bread tray retaining mechanism. In one embodiment, the lifter arm slot comprises an upper portion and a lower portion, the lower portion being wider than the upper portion.

  • Publication number: 20140246418
Abstract: A toaster oven comprises a housing, an opening defined in the housing, and a door. The housing comprises an upper panel, a bottom panel, and opposing side panels together defining a food cavity. The door is movably affixed to the housing and selectively movable between a closed position closing off the opening thereby blocking access to the food cavity and an open position enabling access to the food cavity. The door has a front panel and opposing side panels. A portion of a front edge of at least one side panel of the housing is recessed back from the front panel of the door when the door is in the closed position. The recessed portion of the front edge of at least one side panel of the housing is enclosed by the corresponding side panel of the door when the door is in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 8192762
Abstract: The present invention describes a method for synthesis of relatively low molecular weight imprinted polymers using living polymerization, and their application in analytical chemistry, pharmacology, medicine and the food industry. Specifically the low-molecular weight polymers are synthesized by the polymerization of functional monomers in the presence of a template, such as a biological receptor, enzyme, nucleic acid, cell, virus, microorganism, tissue sample or drug using living initiator. The conditions of living polymerization ensure a relatively small size of synthesized molecules. Synthesized in this way molecules (dimers, oligomers, polymers, or their mixture) have a higher affinity to the template than the original monomers and can rebind it in vitro and/or in vivo.

  • Patent number: 8086415
Abstract: A computer aided rational molecular design method that includes establishing a virtual library of functional monomers each having a portion that is capable of polymerizing and a functional group that is capable of interacting with a template molecule with the aid of a computer, designing a molecular model of a biological template molecule by a computer facilitated molecular mechanical method and screening said virtual library of functional monomers and selecting those monomers which have the highest binding score to the template molecule by their functional group.

  • Patent number: 7682836
Abstract: A template (a molecule preferably of molecular size >500 Da, or a larger entity such as a cell, virus or tissue sample) is dissolved or suspended in a fluid. The fluid is frozen, and the template is removed (e.g. by dissolution or electrophoresis, or mechanically) to leave an “imprinted” frozen fluid. This is capable of selectively adsorbing the template substance. It is usable as a separation medium, a recognition element in sensors and assays, and as a catalyst.

  • Publication number: 20100000413
Abstract: An air filtration device configured for operational association with an electrical outlet mounted on a wall includes a housing the defines a front surface, a rear surface and an air flow path therethrough. A cover is attached to the front surface of the housing in a spaced-apart relationship. The cover and the front surface of the housing define a slot. An impeller is provided for moving air through the air flow path. A motor drives the impeller. The motor and the impeller are supported within the housing. • Patent number: 7632340
Abstract: An air purifier includes a housing having an air inlet, an air outlet and an airflow path therethrough. The housing has a top, a bottom and a plurality of sides. An air filter is located within the housing in the airflow path and a motor is located within the housing. The motor includes a motor shaft and a fan is on the motor shaft for urging air into the air inlet, through the airflow path and out of the air outlet. A cover is removably mounted to the housing proximate the air inlet and a base is removably mounted to the housing. The air purifier is positionable in one of a vertical operating orientation when the weight of the housing is supported by the base and a horizontal operating orientation when the weight of the housing is supported by one of the sides of the housing.

  • Publication number: 20090298194
Abstract: Drugs of abuse (e.g. cocaine) and related substances are selectively bound by an adsorbent which comprises units derived from carboxylic acids of formula A or B: (A): R1R2C(CF3)—CO2H; (B): R3?C(CF3)—CO2H or derivatives thereof. The adsorbent may be a polymer, or a solid support onto which the carboxylic acid, derivative or polymer has been grafted. The preferenced acid is 2-trifluoromethyl acrylic acid. A drug can be selectively bound from a mixture, and recovered using an eluant comprising an organic acid.
