  • Patent number: 5386965
Abstract: A high pressure valve having a gland with a pressure assist chamber therein, a body with an inlet and an outlet and a seat between the inlet and outlet. A piston in the pressure assist chamber. The stem having a lateral tip having a soft stem tip is concentrically bored to connect fluid pressure from the inlet to the top of the piston urging the piston to move the stem and the soft valve tip member toward the valve seat.

  • Patent number: 4757839
Abstract: A high pressure relief valve for use in fluid systems, gas or liquid with zero leakage at pressures of 25,000 psi and above. The relief valve includes a valve body having an axial bore communicating with the high pressure fluid system with at least one, and preferably four, outlet orifices formed therethrough. A small diameter pilot hole is formed in the valve body communicating with the axial bore thereof and with a pilot seating area on an exterior surface thereof. A poppet member having an internal bore is slidably fitted over the valve body to seal off the outlet orifices when in a closed position and for uncovering the orifices when in an open position. A spring biases the poppet in the closed position. A pilot plunger is slidable mounted within the internal bore of the poppet to seal-off the pilot hole of the valve body when in a closed position. A spring biases the pilot plunger in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 4460157
Abstract: A valve is disclosed having a generally cylindrical body having an inlet and an outlet opening and a lateral opening. The valve body is received in a cylindrical collar which is heat shrunk onto the cylindrical body of the valve to provide a prestressed condition in the valve body thereby substantially increasing the strength of the body.

  • Patent number: 4155476
Abstract: A hanging reaction frame assembly for moving a reaction frame to and from a pressure vessel. The reaction frame is hung from a carriage that moves on tracks spanning a well. The pressure vessel is supported by a scaffold within the well and has a platform that passes through the reaction frame.
