  • Publication number: 20240070592
Abstract: Computer-implemented methods and systems are provided for characterizing compatibility between a source group and a target group. Individuals of the source and target groups interact with an electronic-form questionnaire related to a predefined set of professional traits to collect and store question-specific response data to the questionnaire. The question-specific response data is processed to generate a score related to compatibility of the source group and the target group. The question-specific response data is further processed to assign the professional traits to labels that relate to compatibility of the source group and the target group for highlight purposes. The score and additional information based on the traits-to-labels assignment can be presented for display for evaluation of compatibility of the source group and the target group.

  • Publication number: 20230208143
Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for smoothing photovoltaic power generation. Photovoltaic power plants have the inherent problem of generation intermittency caused by the variation in weather conditions over a period of seconds, minutes, and hours. This intermittency results in a variability of active power injection into the electrical grid by the photovoltaic power plant.

  • Publication number: 20220215325
Abstract: An embodiment includes determining if a new incident report of a new incident matches any resolved incident reports associated with resolved incidents. The embodiment performs a first classification operation on the new incident report to determine if the new incident report is likely to be similar to any resolved incident reports associated with resolved incidents. The embodiment also performs a second classification operation on the new incident report to generate a ranked list of changes that are likely to be similar to the new incident report. The embodiment outputs the ranked list of changes to an incident manager for evaluation, then receives an input representative of a selected change from among the ranked list of changes responsible for causing the new incident. The embodiment revises the new incident report to include a reference to the selected change.

  • Patent number: 11221908
Abstract: Systems, computer-implemented methods, and computer program products to facilitate discovery of an inexplicit link between a change and an incident in a computing environment are provided. According to an embodiment, a system can comprise a processor that executes computer executable components stored in memory. The computer executable components can comprise an analysis component that determines a defined link strength corresponding to links between change data and incident data in a computing environment. The computer executable components further comprise an extraction component that employs a model to identify an inexplicit link between the change data and the incident data based on the defined link strength.

  • Patent number: 10484306
Abstract: A system applied to patch panels having pairs of ports to be interconnected by the insertion of connectors provided at each end of a patch cord and carrying a passive NFC identification tag and containing a unique identity of the patch cord. A tracking module associated to each patch panel and connected to a controller device and comprising an NFC antenna associated with each panel port and a reader for processing and storing the signals that each antenna picks up from the identification tag of a connector inserted in the respective panel port. Each tracking module carries a light indicator, indicating the connection status of each port, and a button for registering the patch panel in the controller device having its operation managed, in accordance with a programmed interconnection layout, by a server.

  • Publication number: 20140331498
Abstract: Multifunctional modular mother-beam built in structural steel or similar light, sturdy material, with a “U” configuration and provided with holes along its entire length, either on the back side, on the flanks, or on the edges, by which said mother-beams connect to one another either through their back sides, their flanks, or their edges, at any angle. They are fastened with screws inserted into said holes, with no need for welding. The flanks and edges are bended to facilitate fitting and fastening of the mother-beams. Mother-beams may connect by overlapping their back sides, by joining their edges, by joining their flanks, by joining flanks with edges, edges or flanks with the back side, through direct or reversed connection. It can act as a beam, pillar, trussed beam or bar, being especially useful in the construction of large areas, such as pavilions or similar constructions.

  • Publication number: 20060052748
Abstract: A single use syringe assembly includes a barrel having a chamber for retaining fluid, an open proximal end and a distal end including an elongate tip extending distally therefrom having a passageway therethrough in fluid communication with the chamber. A needle cannula having a lumen therethrough is connected to the elongate tip so that the lumen is in fluid communication with the passageway. An elongate needle shield having a longitudinal opening therein is hingedly connected to the barrel. A needle shield is capable of pivoting from an open position or a closed needle protecting position. The plunger including an elongate body portion and a stopper is slidably positioned in fluid-tight engagement with the inside surface of the barrel. Structure is provided for locking the plunger in the barrel by applying distally directed force to the plunger after fluid has been delivered from the chamber.
