  • Patent number: 11328515
Abstract: A system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program and a method for determining vehicle overlap with a parking space is presented. The method may include accessing a set of pixel coordinates defining a location of a vehicle within an image, and translating the set of pixel coordinates to a set of global coordinates defining a geospatial location of the vehicle. The method may further include accessing a set of known coordinates of the parking space. The method may further include determining an overlap amount by comparing the global coordinates of the vehicle with the known global coordinates of the parking space, and determining the vehicle overlaps the parking space based on the overlap amount transgressing a threshold overlap amount. The method may further include updating a data object associated with the vehicle to indicate the vehicle overlaps the parking space.

  • Patent number: 10971922
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are disclosed for reducing geomagnetically-induced currents. The method includes connecting a plurality of switching devices at a neutral grounding connection point of at least one transformer bank. In a system having two terminals, the method includes grounding one transformer bank through a switch so as to reduce geomagnetically induced current. In a system having more than two terminals, the method includes grounding transformer banks through multiple switches, where the reduction is performed independently for each transformer bank. • Patent number: 10381155
Abstract: A novel winding method is described herein which eliminates the circulating currents for wound transformers. A first layer of a wire is wound about the core at a first set of angles. Next, a loop is pulled to form slack in the wire and the wire is continued to be wound at a second set of angles. The loop provides sufficient slack for the cutting and connecting described further below. The winding and loop pulling continues for s sequences to achieve the desired winding. The wire is then cut at each loop.

  • Patent number: 10224145
Abstract: A transformer assembly comprises at least one transformer having a core. A primary winding is positioned on a first portion, a secondary winding is positioned on a second portion of the core. A neutral winding may be positioned on a third portion of the core. The secondary winding may receive an induced flux produced by an earth surface potential (ESP) via a system ground and/or receive an induced zero sequence flux produced by a non-linear load. The neutral winding may be configured to provide a mitigating flux to the secondary winding. The transformer may also be used as a filter for either GIC or triplen harmonic mitigation. In this case, the primary windings receive the zero sequence current (GIC or triplen harmonics) and the flux may be cancelled in neutral winding such that the zero sequence currents circulate between the zero sequence source and the filter transformer.

  • Patent number: 10184990
Abstract: A programmable AC load in communication with an equipment under test (EUT) is disclosed. The EUT generates an equipment under test voltage. The programmable alternating current (AC) load includes an active load profiler (ALP), a grid-connecter inverter, and an operational mode selector. The operational mode selector is in communication with an AC side of the grid-connected inverter. The operational mode selector places the programmable AC load in either a regenerative mode where the equipment under test voltage is sent to a main grid or a dissipative mode where the equipment under test voltage is dissipated by heat.
