  • Publication number: 20100186332
Abstract: A molding profile assembly has a first and second molding profile. The first molding profile, whose upper surface is to form the upper surface of the molding profile assembly, has a groove formed into an under-surface of a first arm and a groove formed into a foot perpendicular to the arm. The second molding profile has first and second tabs which fit snugly into the first and second grooves of the first molding profile, respectively, interlocking the first and second molding profiles together. The molding profiles do not require scraping, stripping or other permanent alteration in order to be assembled together.

  • Publication number: 20080115622
Abstract: The invention relates to a threaded device (7) embodied in the form of an anti-twisting stop which is rotatably connected to a traction-pressure rod. The inventive device comprises two oppositely located ratchet devices which are connected by a body enabling to stop the traction-pressure rod in several rotational positions with a predetermined locking force and, afterwards, to release it each time. Said threaded device (7) facilitates the mounting of the traction-pressure rod by the fact that the twisting should not be locked by additional handling, thereby making it possible to carry out a fine adjustment without additional measures. The ratchet device (4) comprises, for example, two ratchet elements (10, 11) provided with one or several catch lugs (12) or a metal or plastic ring part on one side and a gear rim on the other side. In addition, said threaded device can be provided with a spring element and a second anti-noise threaded device.

  • Publication number: 20080037429
Abstract: A method for dropping lower priority packets for transmission over a wireless communication medium is provided. A central device receives one or more packets to be transferred to one or more data providers, each packet having a priority. Then, based on the priority, a media access controller stores each of the packets in one or more priority queues in a fixed shared memory space in such a way as to maintain the order in which the packets were received in each of the priority queues. The media access controller monitors the number of packets in each of the priority queues and signals an interrupt when a packet threshold is exceeded in one or more of the priority queues. The media access controller then drops lower priority packets in the fixed shared memory space based on the order received to guarantee that there is enough memory to store higher priority packets in the fixed shared memory space.

  • Publication number: 20070091901
Abstract: A method and system for creating an ethernet-formatted packet from an upstream DOCSIS packet. The upstream packet is first received along with packet characteristic data that is contained in physical layer prepend data and in the packet header. A packet tag is then created, based on the packet characteristic data. The packet characteristic data includes identifiers for the transmitting remote device and the channel over which the transmission is sent. Packet characteristic data also includes information about the physical characteristics of the transmission signal, such as the power level and time offset. The packet characteristic data also includes administrative information, such as the minislot count at which the packet is received and whether the packet was received in contention. The packet tag is appended to the payload of the upstream packet. Also appended to the payload is an encapsulation tag, and source and destination address headers. The result is a packet in an ethernet format.

  • Publication number: 20010007387
Abstract: A two-wheeled dolly for better load balancing of high-profile loads and for use for more easily ramping up or down stairs so as to alleviate user strain and injury. The two-wheeled dolly comprises an L-shaped frame for supporting the load, an extendable handle which may be reversed to allow the user to more easily descend stairs with a load, and a pair of bicycle-type wheels each having a diameter in the range of about 16 inches to about 30 inches, a diameter of 23 inches being highly preferred for such stair use. The axle is more often under the load using the larger wheels, with better load balancing. Friction-type hand brakes may also be provided to more easily control and maneuver the two-wheeled dolly.

  • Patent number: 6257070
Abstract: A method for determining real time liquid phase flow rate from a biphase stream includes the steps of: providing a stream of a biphase fluid including a gas phase having a known gas density and a liquid phase having a known liquid density; providing a separator having a known volume gradient corresponding to liquid level in the separator; feeding the stream to the separator so as to provide a separated liquid phase containing a portion or the gas phase as entrapped gas and a separated free gas phase in the separator; measuring density of the separated liquid phase; measuring change in level over time of the separated liquid phase in the separator; and determining a liquid phase flow rate from the change in level over time, the separated liquid phase density, the known gas density and the known liquid density.

  • Patent number: 5365394
Abstract: A protective electronic relay is disclosed of the type which includes a feed source with a one-phase transformer, rectifying bridge, filter condenser and voltage regulator. Pickups are provided where one-phase signals are generated, connected to some diodes, connected to some capacitors and to a zener diode for the purpose of obtaining rectified, filtered and limited signals with a voltage level proportional to the line intensity of the protected motor. A multiple microswitch connected to some resistors permits presetting of the voltage level and nominal triggering intensity of a relay. An R-C network that can be timed in various scales comprised of resistors a capacitor and another multiple microswitch allows adjustment of the triggering time constant and is applied to that voltage level at the non-inverting input of an operational amplifier whose inverting input is at a reference voltage.
