  • Patent number: 11623657
Abstract: Methods are provided for remotely starting up one or a plurality of vehicles. These methods involve starting up hardware and/or software modules of the vehicle in a particular order so as to account for dependencies among the various modules. In one form, states of various hardware and/or software modules in the vehicle, and errors observed in starting up various modules and troubleshooting is applied in an automated manner. Moreover, the methods may involve ensure proper startup of modules for performing a localization procedure for the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20170313281
Abstract: A defrost duct assembly for a vehicle includes a housing having a wall that defines an air passage. The air passage extends between an inlet and an outlet of the housing. The wall includes an opening into the air passage. A noise attenuation panel is attached to the housing, and covers the opening in the housing. The noise attenuation panel is an acoustic material that is operable to attenuate noise from within the passage of the housing, while maintaining sufficient air flow to adequately defrost a front windshield of the vehicle. The housing may include multiple outlets and multiple openings covered by one or more noise attenuation panels. The noise attenuation panel is preformed to mate with the housing, and minimize disturbance to the flow of air within the passage.

  • Patent number: 9690884
Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for calculating potential power generation for a wind farm, the wind farm including a plurality of wind turbines. The system and method include measuring the power generated by the wind farm; acquiring turbine data from at least a subset of the plurality of wind turbines, the wind turbine data including local wind speed and power generated at the local wind speed; acquiring wind resource data for the wind farm, the wind resource data including wind speed; generating a power curve from the turbine data and the wind resource data, the power curve plotting the relationship between wind speed and power generated; calculating power lost due to availability, subcurve, and curtailment, the power loss calculated for at least said subset of turbines; and aggregating the power lost in order to determine an aggregate power loss for the wind farm.

  • Publication number: 20160233756
Abstract: The present idea Invention is a kinetic technology directed to the conversion of mechanical energy to mechanical electric energy, The process of a centrifugal wheeled disk and a push & pressure-compression engine apparatus, configure to convert an internal force applied by a primary electrical motor connected to a rotatable top wheeled disk creating a centrifugal rotation which in return apply force to a platform which is coupled to the push-pressure compression engines. Members, connected to one another in succession will provide a clean source of energy taking advantage of the technical centrifugal system force and the push-pressure compression engine power system which includes a crankshaft that is one of the most important moving part in the engine. The crankshaft is a large component with a complex geometry in the engine which converts the reciprocating displacement of the piston to a rotary motion.
