  • Publication number: 20220168587
Abstract: The invention relates to a non-surgical system for the retraction of the eyelid tissue of a patient meant to tighten the tissue without making an ablation, that is designed to be coupled to any laser generator equipment present in the market and wherein the laser generator supplies a laser beam in continuous mode to a handpiece. The invention also relates to said handpiece. The system is characterised by comprising a handpiece that can be coupled to a laser generator operating in a power range of 0.1 to 10 W and with treatment times of 0.1 to 5 s, and having one or more lenses that focus or collimate the laser beam to a small spot with a diameter of 0.5 to 5 mm.

  • Patent number: 10780292
Abstract: An electro-mechanical-type handpiece is specially designed to be used with a laser Generator, particularly those that use a CO2 laser and provide a laser beam in fractional mode. The fractional mode laser beam is provided in a pattern of homogeneous points aligned in rows, columns or diagonally, and such a pattern allows internal tissue along an entire length of a vagina of a patient to be treated and a pelvic floor of the patient to be retracted, such that a urinary bladder of the patient is elevated and, owing to the change in angle thereof, slight or moderate losses of urine are resolved or improved. In addition, the device can be used to treat the inner surface of the vagina of the patient, reducing vaginal laxity caused by childbirth and age.

  • Publication number: 20150112319
Abstract: The invention relates to a cable or optical fibre, to which a protective finish has been added, which is formed by a tubular duct, the end parts of which have been mechanized in the form of fingers that have elbowed areas in the vicinity of the tips thereof, which elbowed areas expand toward the outside when the cable and said covering protrude from the catheter, and contract when the cable and finish are introduced into the catheter, avoiding, as is the case at present, a situation in which the fingers are straight and flat, which can produce a tear in walls of the blood vessel in the event of the operator wishing to reinsert the optical fibre through a vein in order to resume treating an already treated area.

  • Publication number: 20110040296
Abstract: The invention relates to a device formed by tractor means for a conductor cable using fibre optics, direct current, RF current, ultrasound or any other type of energy used to obliterate a vein by means of the application of an energy that is absorbed by the wall of the vessel. The type of energy used may be light, electrical current, ultrasound or any other type of energy that produces this retraction effect, and the tractor means are controlled by electronic means that determine the forward/backward and halt magnitude of said fibre-optic cable inside the probe. In parallel, the fibre-optic cable is connected to an energy generator that generates laser, RF or any other energy appropriate to the case.
