Abstract: Embodiments herein describe techniques for an IC package including a package substrate. The package substrate includes a set of validation connectors formed on a first side of the package substrate, a first set of functional connectors formed on the first side of the package substrate, and a second set of functional connectors formed on a second side of the package substrate opposite to the first side. A validation connector of the set of validation connectors is arranged to be coupled with a validation connector of an IC die placed above the first side of the package substrate. A first functional connector of the first set of functional connectors is arranged to be coupled with a functional connector of the IC die. A second functional connector of the second set of functional connectors is arranged to be coupled through the first functional connector to the functional connector of the IC die.

Abstract: An apparatus for closing fasteners in media includes a plurality of fastener clinches, the plurality of fastener clinches being adapted for operable engagement with a plurality of fastener dispensers, and the plurality of fastener clinches including structure adapted to generally simultaneously close a plurality of fasteners discharged by the fastener dispensers. The apparatus also includes an actuation mechanism for moving the fastener clinches to contact and close the fasteners in the media, and a drive for powering the actuation mechanism.

Abstract: A telephone set having a reversible base which can be rotated to facilitate desktop or wall mounting. The reversible base includes tabs which are inserted into slots in a housing, the housing having a first pair of slots oriented for installation of the base in a desktop configuration and a second pair of slots oriented for installation of the base in a wall-mount configuration. Positive locking is achieved by a set of ramps and a protrusion adjacent to each slot, such that a tab sides up the ramps and over the protrusion to lock into place.
