Patent number: 9528495Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method of reducing a mechanical load on the occurrence of voltage dip in the wind turbines. The wind turbine generator controller and the converter control unit work in combination to control the oscillation generated due to voltage dip in the wind turbine 100. The method applies a ramp in power recovery to allow the enhanced DTD damp oscillations before the peak in torque happens. The method involves the step of: delivering a maximum active power value by the converter control unit to the wind turbine generator controller. Next step is setting a saturation value for the set points to enhance the drive train limits. In the next step, ramping is applied to the power set points of the wind turbine generator. And finally an enhanced drive train damping s applied to the ramped value of the power in order to reduce the mechanical load in the wind turbine and to damp the oscillation in the wind turbine generator.Type: GrantFiled: July 28, 2014Date of Patent: December 27, 2016Assignee: GAMESA INNOVATION & TECHNOLOGY, S. L.Inventors: Jose Maria Lopez Rubio, Francisco Jimenez Buendia, Juan Carlos Garcia Andujar

Patent number: 8244761Abstract: A user interface receives a request from an external entity to display a particular subset of internal data of an organization relating to a particular member thereof, determines from a located file corresponding to the external entity that a member ID of the particular member is listed therein, and thereafter retrieves the internal data of the member from a database. The user interface then culls the particular subset of the internal data to be displayed from the retrieved internal data, applies located rules corresponding to the external entity to the display of such particular subset of the internal data to result in any modifications necessary in view of such located rules, and displays such particular subset of the internal data as modified to the external entity.Type: GrantFiled: October 18, 2007Date of Patent: August 14, 2012Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)Inventors: Charles Julian Dickens, Francisco Jimenez Lugo, Donna Marie Antopia

Publication number: 20010013212Abstract: An arrangement of camouflage for support towers of telecommunications antennas or similar structures, including troncoconical, cylindrical, polygonal or similar shaped bodies, attached to the ground through an anchor plate and equipped with an opening in the lower part for the inlet or outlet of cables communicating with an underground conduit. If weatherproof equipment is used, it would be done through an aerial conduit, the bodies being coated with a plastic coating that has on the outside the form of tree bark, secured by adhesive. The support is capable of being formed by parts encased among themselves or welded together, extensions being attached on the upper part on which main artificial branches are attached, and over them, secondary artificial branches and further a body section that is provided with main artificial branches, and over them secondary artificial branches. Antennas attached over suitable supports will be installed on the top section.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 2, 2001Publication date: August 16, 2001Inventors: Juan Carlos Jimenez Sanchez, Juan Francisco Jimenez Sanchez, Pedro Manuel Jimenez Sanchez, Vicenta Jimenez Sanchez, Eva Christina Jiminez Jiminez

Patent number: 5259944Abstract: A corrosion detecting probe is to be used in combination with an electrochemical corrosion-rate meter for performing on-site diagnosis of the corrosion rate of metallic reinforcement systems in concrete structures. After the probe is brought into surface contact with a concrete member, voltage/current signals are applied thereto and a series of calculations are performed to determine the polarization resistance directly about a confined concrete portion. The probe consists essentially of an external counterelectrode, a central counterelectrode, a central reference electrode and a pair of extra reference electrodes (sensors). A current applied from the external counterelectrode serves to repel the lines of current (resulting from a voltage signal first applied at the central counterelectrode) below the probe and within the confined concrete portion which is between the central counterelectrode and the external one.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 1993Date of Patent: November 9, 1993Assignees: Geotecnia Y Cimientos, S.A.-Geocisa, Consejo Superior De Investigaciones Cientificas (CSIC)Inventors: Sebastian Feliu, Jose A.
